Hiw did the clipons workout? They clear the fuel tank and have full range of motion? If you had to do it again would you use the same clip ons or something different?
These clipons work perfectly, doesn’t impact full range of motion or touch the tank, you can adjust it as you like, is very versatile. And yes, if I did it again, I would go with the same ones for sure, quality is just unbelievable and allow a lot of customisation. Thanks for the support
Costs about £34 here in the UK. I got it from Urban Rider, but you can probably find in other online stores. I would look at Biltwell website and their distributors in India. Hope this helps.
sorry i live down the road from this and the owls nest its all shit, there ain't a site better than 9 to 5pm lol oh sorry the old spot inn llandovery that's open I think till 9pm witch is a very very old cafe place its still the best spot
@@v79moto these biking spots are shit sorry nice to see but boring as hell, its the same routes all the time its like getting drunk in the same place everyday.... no offence but in summer dark at now at about 9pm also couple of hours on Sunday some not even open, there has got to be better places than short rubbish, west wales mid wales even all the way to north....
@@v79moto see rode past the other night at but 7,30 ish even though said closed e was about 40 there witchakes it look a lot batter but closing at 4m?? lol
Possibly, especially if your Akropovic has the same design, doubt they would change for each exhaust. I was lucky to watch someone else doing it first, so I felt comfortable to drill into a £700 exhaust 😅
Interesting you said large would be ok for you with a t shirt . Large is for 40 and going by their sizing chart you would be an XXL? I’m a 41-42 chest and was considering XL, might have to go to at most a large
I can actually fit a light jumper underneath it, but becomes a bit tight, you can far away with it if you must, but I find it uncomfortable. I typically only wear a T-shirt underneath and maybe a waistcoat if a bit chilly. Hope this helps.
Haha, you now know how to pronounce my name correctly! :) In the meantime QuadLock has released a 12v version of the wireless head, so no need to fiddle around with the USB converters but you can connect it directly to the ThunderBox or any other switched power source. I did not upgrade, no need because the USB version and the TB-USB1 works just fine for me, but if I would need to buy it for another bike I would go for the 12v version. Btw, the TB-U01 is 16A, and the TB-U02 is 32A. (or actually 2 x 16A)
Hey, I used to have an iPhone 11 Pro and never had GPS problems. Now I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro and the GPS still working fine. Hope this helps. Thanks for the support 🙏🏾
Thankfully no, I currently have the iPhone 13 Pro and the GPS works fine. Could it be the a phone issue? I would get Apple to have a look. Thanks for the support 🙏🏾
It starts first time, but as I previously mention, I don’t think is the battery, I think is the tracker draining it. I’ve been using the bike more now as the weather has improved and starts first time ALWAYS! And I am not plugging in to a trickle charger. Hope this helps.
@@v79moto Thank you for your reply! That’s fantastic! I don’t use any accessories on mine, went through 2 batteries before, a lithium Bosh and an original Yuasa, and now gonna get the Noco lithium! Thank you very much again for fast reply! Mine is a 2019
I’m considering buying one of these, however, reluctant based on some others comments about it not playing nice with sunglasses. (The front of the helmet pushing down on the glasses and bridge of your nose as well as the arms of the glasses being uncomfortable). Has that been an issue for you as well? Thanks
Hey D Mac! I don’t feel the helmet pushing down on the sunglasses, but I do get a lot of wind through the bottom of the sunglasses which makes it easier to ride without them rather than with them, crazy right? Only up to 30-40mph, faster is too uncomfortable. I’m wearing the helmet everyday for my commute, it’s decent and cheap, but if you want something better go for the Shoei equivalent.
@@v79moto OK thanks I’m going to try one on today as well as the shoei. Thanks again for your feedback. Really enjoyed your video, keep up the great work!
Yes, it will fit. I’ve got a 2019 model and worked perfectly as you saw on the video, the engine and header set hasn’t changed in the CB1000R Neo Sports Cafe models, so you can buy with confidence! 🤙🏾
@@v79moto and I really appreciate your videos! And it is not just that you are making the bike better, the enthusiasm on your face is really cool to see. Btw, if you ever visit Amsterdam then drop me a line, especially if you are on your bike!
Hey Jeroen! Will definitely do that, could you please send me your details to victor@v79moto.cc ? I will be going to Belgium in a couple of weeks, will pop in to Hermanus motorcycle cafe/shop in Bruges. Fancy a ride there?
I've been using a Bell Custom 500 for quite sometime now. And my personal choice of visor is still sunglasses. But don't use the black ones, because those aren't versatile as you can't use them at night. What I use instead are the yellow tinted ones. They're extremely comfortable to the eyes, blocks sunlight to a degree during the day, and works almost just like clear visors at night. Above all, yellow glasses fit into the retro look perfectly! Advantages of glasses over face shields: The face breathes better. And the helmet also breathes better when taken off after use (crucial because the pads aren't removable in this helmet so you'd want them to breathe well and be as fresh as possible after each use), unless you wanna keep removing the face shield each time, which is extra work. ☺
Good points. Although I get a lot of air pressure on my eyes wearing sunglasses, maybe because I ride a naked bike, no wind protection. The bubble visor is pretty decent, as it almost becomes invisible once wearing it and good air flow too. Did you know you can use FaceID with your bubble visor on?? Pretty sick 🤙🏾
Another sizing question…I see that you got the XL, and it seems to fit you well. My question is, what are your measurements? I’m in the states, so unfortunately I can’t make it to Urban Rider…so if you could let me know your chest and height /weight measurements, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
To be completely honest, I am not sure. Now I had a wireless charger at home which didn’t work with my normal quad lock phone case. I would suggest getting the new quad lock MagSafe case to best results.
It is indeed. Interestingly, the old battery - Shido lithium - is on form, haven’t charged, just left in the garage and is holding its charge perfectly. I honestly believe it is the tracker draining it.
Nice job ! A bit of warning for viewers: he cleaned off the spilled glue with acetone. That was only possible because the clear coat was 2k ! Don,t do that with normal paint or you will ruin it.
Good shout!! I’ve seen some Evotech ones I like. But to be honest I wonder if they would ruin the clean look on the bike. Definitely something to consider.
Hey Michael! Yes, 50mm. I would advise to get the slim option if you’re going with ABM clip ons, as there isn’t a lot of play area on the forks as they taper in and out. Hope this helps! 👊🏾
To be completely honest, I don’t actually know as it been a while since I’ve done a long trip. But from memory, I think maybe 200mi? I guess it all depends if you’re ripping it at speed limits on the motorway or just cruising. But I think this bike is pretty frugal for the beast that it is. Hope this helps. Thanks for the support 🙏🏾
