Sweet groove fellas. Just been listening to Alice, she's got the power of Janice J & Etta J. Was hoping we might see you all at Guildfest 2024, end of June, but you're not listed... maybe next year?
The series Parish brought me here .I plan on singing this song, the second Sunday in May 2024, for my churches 140th anniversary, in honor of the old Saints who has passed on. I remember as a child, when we had wooden benches and wooden floors, the church would vibrate with the clapping and stumping. The windows would be pushed up during hot days, because the church had no air condition ..The old Deacons would sing this song.. I am one person who doesn't prefer praise and worship devotion. I'm not crazy about all of the fan fare of new age songs. Old gospel songs move my soul. I like traditional songs and old Baptist Hymns . I like to sing old songs without music. You ask can I sang? I can put the stank on a song!!!
Best "emerging" band that I have seen in a long time, - and I saw AC/DC when they were "emerging"! With 3 guys who can each take the frontman position, all superb musicians and songwriters. Just go see them live. You will not be disappointed.
I watched the live stream - it was excellent. 👍👍 Edit: Favourite all time Rockpalast gigs?! Albert Collins: 1980. Or one of Rory Gallagher's 1970's appearances ('76 or '77?!) Btw, have we missed the boat getting you guys booked to play the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket, Suffolk?! (probably!) 😞
