Hi Sharon, the little wooden stands on my shelves are homemade. I made them to display my hoops when I do my Stitching Shows. I'll bring one forward and show them off better on my next Flosstube x

I did my dyeing with Rit Dye, 2 colours Rose Quartz and Sunshine Orange. The fabric was wet and scrunched up in a selection of Kilner jars that I already owned (and didn't match size wise). It came out looking a bit bright so I then did a second dyeing with a watered down Taupe to calm it all down a bit. Really loved trying out the process, I'll be dyeing again soon I'm sure x
Claire…I love your floss tubes..the story of your peacock is so sweet…obviously a reason she was sent to you for all that time….wanted to mention about your Liz Mathew’s pumpkin house…Lindy Stitches has done an alternative bottom with blackbirds instead of pumpkins…on her website…just mentioning because you like birds so much.

Great video Claire! Seeing your Poisonous Plants WIP makes me want to get back to mine. Looking forward to seeing more on your Patreon. With regards to the hare needle minder, I prefer the sitting/moon gazing one. So pleased you are making and stocking the hoop buts. I am hoping you will do other sizes at some point as I need 5 inch ones plus other sizes (I'd have to measure!) for a few of my hoop finishes. I'm also hoping the PDF of the love birds pattern will be released 🤞 Happy stitching! 🪡 🧵
Hi Sarah, if you need 5 inch butts I know Kate Blandford sells that size in her Etsy shop - she may do other smaller sizes too. I only have 6 and 7 inch hoops here, so wouldn't like to guess the size that the butt would need to be. I think the hare sitting seems to be the favourite, this surprises me! But I guess that's why it's worth asking. The Lovebird's pdf is up in my shop, under Everything's Peachy. 🥰

Yes! I've watched all of yours now 😀 (not in a stalker-ish way, honest!) but really enjoyed them. You've framed up your Poisonous Plants so perfectly, I kinda wished I'd chosen a grey like you though. I'm learning to be more adventurous and not stick to the called for all the time.

Hi Claire! Your poisonous plants looks great! The Owl Forest mushrooms is their current free SAL so you should be able to find what has already been published and there are still more to go. They have lovely SALs, usually quite large. Your spider web piece is going to look amazing on that special fabric. I look forward to seeing that when you start. I rarely show my threads too, for the very reason they are never as pretty as other Flosstubers make them 😉

I have that Spider Banner chart too! I don't know when it will be started but your fabric for it is gorgeous! Nope sadly I haven’t found any stitchy stores here in the UK. It’s hard to order things online without actually seeing them 😕 it can turn out a very expensive mistake. Love Megan’s fabric. You’ve picked some lovely pieces 😊

Lovely to meet you, I love your birds and I have a ‘tree’ in my dining room and originally it held Christmas ornaments including your beautiful deer and the robin. The deer has wandered off but the robin has been joined by the blue tit and the wren. Hopefully they will be joined by more of your exquisite bird designs in the future.

OMG I can not believe my stars that U found you. I am big fan of your cross stitch patterns. Your display of your pieces in the six inch hoops are amazing. Where did you get the stands from if you don't mind me asking?
Hi @marylynnlucas3918 thanks for being a fan 😉 always nice to hear. If you are talking of the little wooden stands that each individual hoop is stood on - I make them myself out of plywood. I basically based it on a plate stand 🤣
Claire...your new patterns and fabrics are just lovely...you might watch Mama Loves you GB...Michelle...she is from Wales and can answer your questions from this floss tube...life for stitchers has really changed and you will love it...one word of caution...hand dyed fabrics and floss cannot be washed...really enjoyed your video...especially the Ema Condon book...best wishes❤❤

If only we had more LNS in this country!! I live in Essex and I don’t know of any that are in London or Kent! I always say my nearest LNS is Brick City which is in Florida - I go there when I’m on holiday! They have a whole wall full of bolts of different fabrics - in loads of different counts!! Plus all the threads and tonnes and tonnes of charts - and not to mention the model stitching on the walls!! Just a shame it’s 4,000 miles away and I only get to go once every other year!!
