What an enchanting Christmas embellishment! Superb work! The festive decoration is truly remarkable. It gives off a fantastic vibe! Thanks friend for sharing. Big like 🎅🎄🎁
Thanks for following my videos. I use two small cameras: the latest models of the Canon G7X and Canon M50. The G7X fits in my pocket, has a nice zoom range and excellent low light range. The M50 is a small, mirrorless DSLR that takes both new, smaller lenses made for it as well as all of my older Canon lenses by using an adapter collar. The M50 was on a 3D gimbal for video but found it easier to just put it on a monopod. Two cameras are nice when you come in from the cold and have to deal with greenhouse humidity fogging everything up. I keep the G7X in an inside pocket that stays warm and will not fog up. I heard Carol of the Bells by Libera a year ago but spent about 6 months trying to find the track name. You may enjoy the My December music in my Retrospectives video as well, which also inspired the choice of images I used.
Phenomenal! Thank you for taking the time to assemble such a beautiful moving piece of art. Looking forward to visiting in a few days and introducing my family to something which I have indelible memories of my youth.
Thanks for this -- what a gift! I am taking three generations to A Longwood Christmas this year (2021) but am sharing this video with them to get them prepped.
I distinctly remember this year at Longwood. The apple design in the main conservatory, the partridge tree and the spectacular colored lighting in the cedar trees were quite memorable. Thank you for posting.
The day was December 10, 2013. It had snowed most of the day and it was mostly powder. Longwood's extensive use of spotlights on trees played perfectly with snow covered branches. An unexpected delight was that LED Christmas lights don't melt snow covering them! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this beautiful video. I grew up going to Longwood Gardens and have travelled from Virginia to PA to see for many years. I had to cancel my visit this year due to Covid restrictions, but feel I could experience in some way with this virtual experience. Happy Holidays!
I appreciate your comments. We, too, have had many travel plans up-ended this year. I just posted a second Longwood Christmas video from many years ago when the gardens and lights were completely covered in snow.
As others mentioned this is the first time in decades of not being able to go, so thank you for a relaxed look at Longwood Christmas! The other drone videos are interesting, but rushed. I particularly enjoyed your choice of music from Yiruma on the last section. Being an avid Korean drama fan I've heard his music before.
I appreciate your comment. I discovered Yiruma earlier this year and hoped to use his music for a New England foliage video. Travel restrictions prevented that trip but the music stayed with me. A River Flows In You gave me an chance to experiment with "non-Christmas" music for a holiday video.
Beautiful photos, videography and music accompaniment made a very enjoyable few moments. I don't go to Longwood often but enjoy each visit. This was as nice as actually being there given the current circumstances. Thank you for making that possible. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas season and happy and healthy new year. 💕
Thank you for the kind words. I was fortunate enough to get to the gardens and into the conservatory just before it was closed in the latest round of COVID restrictions. Longwood, as always, did a wonderful job with it.
Thanks for watching. I've been doing these for friends and family since 2006. They started as DVDs but RU-vid has allowed them to be enjoyed by a much wider audience.
