Welcome to Bambear1 Where I post Drew's Antics, a show where I talk about video game topics and sometimes make sketches in the series. Some other random videos are uploaded every now and then. Enjoy your stay hopefully.
@@Dremag_Gaming That’s fair. I guess I just counted it here because it was the most popular Pokémon mobile game and it’s the only Pokémon mobile game I have any experience in.
My favorite Nintendo mobile game was Pokemon Duel. It was an actually interesting and fun strategy game, kind of like chess. It was unfortunately discontinued.
The biggest reason was not mentioned here at all. It was released unfinished. Why? The inventor-also behind _Metroid,_ the Game & Watch D-Pad that persists on controllers to this day, the Game Boy, etc.-died due to being a pedestrian stricken by a drunk driver. $:^ (
I only really made a video on this console because I thought that it was interesting that Nintendo would release a console with such little support and as strange and obscure as this. What would cross the line is making a video about a mainline Pokémon because I know my knowledge is limited. Thanks for the critique nonetheless.
It's kinda tough luck that the shitty Philips CD-I game cutscenes turned out to be good source material for YTPs, at least they turned out to be good for something.
I feel like I should mention that even if these games may not be all that worth playing today, it’s still kinda impressive that a device at the size it was at was able to play games. I feel like I downplayed that a little. I also mispronounced a few Pokémon names I apologize. Edit- I mispronounced almost all of the names actually I’m so sorry oh my god
Keep in mind, this is from an era before mobile phones and graphing calculators that could run games. This was a Speak n Spell that was small enough to easily swallow by its target audience!
Honestly, I don’t know why the Wii was such a failure. It was good but I guess people are just confused with the names, so yeah that’s the only thing I think is wrong with it
Just thought I’d mention that I forgot this system existed until you posted this comment and that gave me the idea to make a separate video about it maybe coming out in the next week
Your presentation is great, if I can suggest, maybe upgrade your microphone as it’s the single most important quality improvement your will ever do to your channel. I found a 25$ microphone with the arm on AliExpress, tweaked a bit the EQ in Final Cut and the sound quality is insane for that price. Other than that the video is excellent
great video hermano! i’ve noticed ever since ive started making videos, ive been getting more small guys like myself, and im glad i have :) i really like your style! only thing is like everyone has been saying, audio quality could use some work, but don’t worry, audio quality isn’t as big of an issue if the video is entertaining
i liked the video!! if i had any recommendations, it'd be to try rendering in 1080p and developing thumbnail skill/commissioning if you feel like spending that. nice stuff!! :)
Thanks for the recommendations. Rendering 1080p is definitely something I should have started doing a long while ago but since nobody said anything about it i just kinda kept on rendering in 720. Plus I used to edit on a tablet so I was conserving space by doing that, but I really don’t need to worry about that now because I use my laptop to edit now which has way more storage than that crappy tablet had. As for thumbnails, I don’t have any sort of software that does it, I’ve just kinda used google slides for the past 2 years so they’ve not been all that great. I would put money into commissions but I don’t think I’m a big enough RU-vidr to really warrant that yet. Maybe I’ll try to look into better methods of making thumbnails because I really could use anything other than a software that’s designed for making presentations.
Truthfully, from someone who has listened to video essays for 4 years of working night shifts, you have great energy, tempo, and writing/editing. If you got better audio equipment, these could skyrocket
You know what, that was this was a pretty good video. You gotta work on your audio quality a little (both mic and pronounciation), but I can see a really entertaining channel develop here. Subscribed
great video! it's good to see new youtubers make actually good content, you will go far in the youtube world. i just started youtube myself and plan to do gaming videos of nintendo games. and have you watched thomas game docs? he does a lot of very interesting info about (mostly) nintendo content.
I should specify that these are the sales of the games as of basically the end of 2023 so I think maybe for example- Mario Wonder has sold more than what I said. Most of what I said is still fairly up to date though
The Wii U is still underrated and understand af. Though it has a rather small community nowadays, it's still thriving with homebrew and the upcoming miiverse and Nintendo network revival.
ScottTheWozn't... Nah just kidding this was very entertaining. I love Super Circuit but that's just because I play it on Switch and Emulators. On Original hardware I bet it sucks.
Probably should have said that I didn’t play super circuit on original hardware. I actually used my hacked 3ds to play it. It was technically an official release of it but you could only get it if you bought the 3ds at its launch price and I just downloaded it on to my 3ds through Homebrew stuff. But thanks for the feedback nonetheless.
Disclaimer- This video was finished the literal day before Nintendo announced they’d be shutting down the 3DS online severs. The whole online portion for the Mario Kart 7 part is sort of outdated. Nintendo had real convenient timing on that announcement.
