Why sit backwards? Bought as a surprise gift for Dave, but he said his stomach is too big and the handle pushes him back on the seat so only his balls are on the seat and not his ass. Why can't people sit on it normally? So now I got me a new stick and still need a birthday present for Dave.
Can you please compare this chair with the 352? Can this one do all terrain? Because the only complaint I see about the 352 is the material. Aluminum pieces break when traveling and going over gravel or cobblestones.
I bought the Nova Mini Mack rolling walker several years ago, and it's been a big help to me. It's better than my canes for almost every situation. Because I am disabled and need a mobility aid, I need a niche size (short & wide), and they do eventually wear out, I keep tabs on what's available. I noticed a while back that the Nova Mini Mack rolling walker seems to have been discontinued. I checked out the other Nova model lines and found that the Star 8 HD Petite is like the Mini Mack, but with a few more features, so I will probably get that model when it's time to replace my Mini Mack. So far Nova Joy is the only company that seems to have a model for people who are both short and wide. Anyway, I like checking out mobility aid videos. Due to a number of health issues, I rarely go out anymore. These videos help me check out products without having to leave my home.
I just got mine. I read TONS of reviews on many different styles and finally settled on the Phoenix. I have only had it long enough to take some test drives down the sidewalk and around my yard, but so far, I think it will be a terrific aid for me. I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and am very weak in my knees, ankles, wrists and hands. I walk with much greater confidence with this walker. One thing I wouldn't have thought of, the upright positioning allows me to keep my wrists and hands in a more comfortable position as well as the rest of me. It even handled well on my somewhat bumpy yard. I am planning a day out with my besties in about a month, so I'm eager to be able to get around and enjoy my day. My only complaint might be that it is somewhat bulky trying to get it into my car. I have to lower the back seat and lay it down in the cargo area for it to fit. Other than that so far, I love it!
Looks like the walker the blonde was using was set one notch too low for her. I have owned my Nova Mini Mack for several years now, and really like it. It helps that I did my homework before buying it, regarding the different sizing areas. Weight capacity, seat to floor height, range of handle height, space between handles, and overall width of the walker are all important. Get a wide walker, and it might not fit through your inside doors. Get one that is too narrow for your butt, and you will have to return it. You need the right seat to floor height to be comfortable when sitting down. It all boils down to doing your homework. And always make sure that you can walk BETWEEN THE WHEELS/HANDLES when using the walker. If you walk too far back, you will be in danger of falling because the walker will be too far ahead of you for you to maintain proper control of it. You will also be putting a strain on your neck, back, hips, and knees. Also, walkers can't do a good job of supporting you when you walk leaning over and too far back. As you can see, I really did my homework 😂, but I got the right walker for me, and I really like it. I like reverse humor, so I named it Warp 9. 😂
Mine weighs 15 pounds. It's great for walking but doesn't fit well in the back of my SUV. I need to put it in the back seat. I have a kitchen floor mat to protect the seat as the manufacturer's seat protector costs $189 and is mainly designed for dogs. The floor mat does the job for $24.99. The loading technique that Sue uses works for the back seat also.
Got one for hubby and then one for my self. I upgraded from an older nova Rollator and this one is wonderful. The 8 inch wheels are super - not too big and or too small. I do wish the toe pad was a little wider however. Mine is the lock and lift model - great idea. Your video is perfect. But, I can’t get up off the floor so I put most of it together with the parts on the bed - worked beautifully. Easily went together!!
I have smaller skies than the ones you suggested using already on my walker. Recently the ski ends broke off. I can not get the center out of the walker leg. How do I dig out or push out the center core that is stuck in the leg? Thank you in advance! Anita Palmer from Florida
When you say to connect to bed frame, do you mean the box springs? We have a California King with 2 box springs below the mattress. So I'm not sure about where to install those screws? Also, can you flip the pockets to the inside? Thank you for your help. This looks like a very nice rail. Great instructions!
