My wife and I are very fortunate to live in California. On any given day it’s easy to film some of the most beautiful areas in the United States. Feel Free to comment but try to keep it nice. I also do videos on my career as a Federal officer and Federal Agent from 1991 to 2016. Travel and Pets, National Parks, State Parks, California, Wildlife, and small towns and cities. The White Lab you see in my videos is Dustydog, she passed away Dec2019 I enjoy making short videos of what I see while traveling, and visiting National Parks, National Forest, State Parks or just visiting new areas. Remember to always keep a safe distance from Wildlife. And other things of interest, building demolition, fishing boats, Old planes, Steam trains.

Bless you! My husband has some of the symptoms you had before you went through your surgery. He has had one surgery but has had a few episodes a few weeks ago. Everything you went through is scary to say the least. I'm very glad you are better! I am a Christian and it has taken me a long time and many different searches over years of looking for answers. I went to a lot of different churches but not truly understanding . I started reading the KJV of the bible again for I don't know how many times and I finally said out loud Dear God, This doesn't make a bit of sense!! God didn't give up on me as I even searched many different religions. I am so happy with my relationship with our Father now!! My creator , my best friend ,my everything! I feel God in my heart and the love, wow!
The Carmel is 100 years old or more. . That musty smell . Mold. Old plumbing . Stay at the Casa Del Mar. On the beachfront .Don't stay at Shangri La either . Musty smell . 90 years old. .
Your video is great. I lived in Ferndale for many years and worked at Curley’s bar and grill in the Victorian inn for quite some time. You really captured the town perfectly. I have so many wonderful memories of the people there and what a most amazing community I was privileged to be a part of. I moved back home to La Crescenta in Southern California where I grew up (to get warm) but visit there when I can. I still think of moving back. You should go back and interview the locals, Andy the model ship maker , Marin and Sandy the original owners of the Mercantile (they have the little jewelry and pearl shop next to the theatre. I miss the Ivanhoe, It was a fantastic place for the locals, Thursdays nights with Bill Mc Bride and friends was a don’t miss. Open Mic at Curley’s on Mondays back in the day was always a packed house filled with amazing talent. I worked every Monday behind and bar and really these are my favorite musical memories. Go interview the guys in Papa Joes, lots of good stories there. Tell Richie hello for me. The Pizza Co is the friendliest place with great pizza and the last standing salad bar anywhere. And the Pally (the Palace ) is really the best local place in town. Anyway I could go on and on because I could feel the town in your video ,and your love and respect for it too.Thank you for taking me back in time as the sign on highway101 says.❤❤❤
Disappointed. I found this to be two jerky and fast without any explanation of what or where we were looking at ~ Having been to Ashland just this past June, other than 'Greenleaf", found nothing here to focus on or remember from my time there.
I was a Corpsman stationed@ Naval FacilityCenterville Beach... 1975-78....Sickbay was a Branch Clinic of Oakland Naval Hospital. Glad to see the Base finally mentioned ...on the parking lot Information board. Great video.
Excellent filming of this great little gem of a town. For a video of this town, a walking/filming is much better than driving a car around the town and filming. This town needs constant protection from any developers that want to change it.
I lived there in the early to mid 70’s as a boy and it was pretty much the same. That store called POPS used to be a used record store and the tattoo place was an arcade, I remember seeing my first video game there, pong. The movie theater was operating then, I saw Jaws and West world there, my mother had a friend who,lived in the house next to the theater, they had a couple weird kids I didn’t like. I once found a 5 dollar bill on the gutter across from the movie theater one time, I was shocked. And back then food was pretty rare, my mother was pretty useless and spent her alimony and child support on useless crap and none of it got to me. Without my grandmother, I likely wouldn’t be here.
