There’s no such thing as an Arabic scale. What she’s doing is just straight up musical theory. Mixolydian scales are where the mediant scales are diminished. it’s almost like she’s playing ping-pong with the volume of her voice or the pitch .Mixolydian is a diatonic mode . She has been doing the exact same thing over a lot of performances in her career. One of my absolute favorites was performance at the Brit awards in 2002 of independent women or she opened with a beautiful set of mixolydian scales, roulade and incredible Diminuendos
i was at that show at staples, stevie's almost annual toys christmas concert. daley did 2 songs, he was so great that stevie and him started doing a medley. god damn if daley didn't try to out sing stevie. oh NO!!!!! stevie turned his microphone way down and that seemed to be the end of daley's career.
