In 1973 My uncle and i (i was 19)built a 51 gmc with the dual 4bbl 283 & 4spd out of a wrecked 58 corvette! Put a 57 olds rearend under it and painted it a Porche metalic silver blue. Blue custom interior. Was a fun ttruck to tool around in! Hauled ass😊
Hi, cool video. I just got one of these, it came with a mount from MKE, I want to put an optic on it- looking at some of the cheap sig romeo 5's on ebay- will any type of romeo 5 work, or do I need a specific one for this model? I have an ap5p if that makes a difference. Thanks!
Sir, you got my like and and subscribe. Easy decision. I like how you broke it down with the parts, but your size comparison is fantastic. If you're a bullpuper, join the community at r/everythingbullpup.
They are literally the exact same size folded and with the braces extended. I finally got the back ordered SMC Bravo parts, so it’s really a preference of the red dot on the slide or fixed, and folding brace vs. telescopic 🙏🏿
@@ValorLife interesting. When you get a chance can you give me the dimensions(length and width) when they’re both collapsed/folded? I just want to make sure they fit in my vehicle space and a bag I have. Thanks so much in advance. You should do a vid on this comparing the two. I think it would get you some awesome views. God bless.
Can I get the length dimensions from the tip of your slide to the end of the brace when folded? I’d really appreciate it. Width when folded would also be nice. I want to make sure it’ll fit in a bag, and area of my vehicle I have in mind for it. Thanks and god bless.
My 42" rifle bag screams rifle from a mile away. The "covert" 30 quietly whispers rifle to anyone who is really paying attention. It's not discreet enough to EDC, but for transportation to the range is a lot more low key than some other bags.
You can either get an Ultimak rail to replace your gas tube, it’s picatinny on top. Or you can get the Attero Arms Mount, which replaces your rear iron sights. I have this set up, installation on both are very easy! 🙏🏿
Got one of these to pair with a Kimber R7 Mako Tactical for the express purpose of becoming my house gun. Running it in the short config with Winchester Super Suppressed 147gr FMJ subsonic and got lots of jamming caused by failure to run the slide fully back. After that, I ran it with G9 Defense 126gr subsonic without cleaning the Mako or the piston and it ran flawlessly with zero malfunctions. Shooting in an indoor range in the short configuration , it was quiet enough to shoot comfortably with no ear plugs with the lower power G9 ammo without any after effects to my hearing. Just exactly what I was hoping for as a home defense platform.
@@ValorLife My piston assembly was difficult to get apart after 120 rounds total. I had lightly lubed it prior to firing with Gun Butter, so I was able to get it apart without resorting to using tools. After soaking the assembly parts in 1/3rd CLR and 2/3rd water, it cleaned up great and I gave it a lot more lube with the Gun Butter as I feel it had done a good job the first time. Next time I shoot it, I'll give the white lithium a try.
You're not making the right comparison. You should be comparing it to the shield plus performance center. Yes, it holds 13 rounds compared to 17 for the Sig, but that is the only place the sig beats it, and 13+1 is plenty for a defensive cc pistol. The shield plus PC costs less, has a better trigger, weighs less, and shoots better than the sig.
Agreed, I’ve been trying to get a Flux to no avail. I really like the SMC, can’t wait until they ship the preordered mag carrier and blast shield. Mines actually shoots suppressed with the stock recoil spring with zero malfunctions so far using the Dead Air Mojave 9 🙏🏿
