I noticed the 3 link trucks! How do the 3 link trucks fair w/ straight way high speed stability? I've a Lacroix w/ channel hypertrucks. How would I be able to maintain high speed stability w/ my set up? Can I put an angled riser in my hypertrucks or do I need to get some of those 3 link trucks??? Thanks! Awesome video!
Congrats on a great race. So much fun watchin u guys. Gotta admit it’s a bit intimidating hearing those boards coming up on ya during open track😅. Time to get out da way😅. How can someone not luv this sport🤘😎😎
I think that was me at 3:47 haha. I saw you coming from behind and I was like "nope just gonna get out of this mans way for rn" haha was awesome hanging out with you this weekend brother. Congrats on the race!
Thank you much! And don’t feel like you gotta get out of the way! It’s the job of the faster rider behind to find the clear line through. Just stay consistent and predictable when fast traffic comes up behind 🤙🏻
I watch this about once a month. I raced in another class and I can confirm that those corners are nowhere near as easy as you made them look. Can’t wait for this year’s Esk8Con!
Thanks for posting this gives me an idea of where I'd want to be, and the risks, should I start considering racing. I'm 59 and recently addicted to esk8 but have been on a board (mostly longboards) 50 years.
Yes! It’s a little Amazon go pro mount that I have attached to one of the bolts that holds my foot strap on. I think it was about $15 and it’s just a little arm with a ball joint on the end and the go pro attachment.
It’s a track only board, so range isn’t really a specification that matters - but I can typically do about 16mi of hard track riding. Top speed is currently 55mph, could easily gear for more.
