"Records In My Life" asks musicians about the music they love.
For the past four years Charles Brownstein and Mark Henning have been interviewing recording artists about the music that inspires them. Charles is the driving force behind the Northern Transmissions.com music website while Mark is a long term musician, record producer turned videographer and editor. RIML has amassed over 240 interviews with artists ranging from Paul Weller, Aurora, Gary Numan to Phoebe Bridgers and Metallica. We are very proud of this series and have benefited greatly from all the brilliant people we've met over the years. Thing is, he’s just wrong about politics. The fascists were left-wing. They were not right wing socialist of done a really good job of misleading people about what fresher, and was. Mussolini was a Marxist. He realized that other Marxist parties in Europe were backing the war they were going in a nationalist direction he saw this is the way forward. He believed that national Mark nationalist Marxism was the way to Build socialism and Italy. So he presented the big question to the Marxist party he belong to will you support nationalist Marxism or internationalist Marxism? The party rejected nationalist Marxism and he was booted out of the Marxist party. But fascism was Italian trade Unionism. It’s literally in the word fascism . The Nazis were also socialist it’s in their name as well however, their focus was on race unlike the fascists, the fascist were not erase based ideology. The Nazis were race based nationalists however, they were still socialist.
@@perrysumner1274 You tube also has a Karaoke of this with the same sound track, so you can sing along and try to do it like him. I recorded a version until it sounded pretty darn close to his. (His voice is awesome. It's not easy to do.)

So wild! First time I heard Tony Williams Lifetime "EMERGENCY!" I was around high school age I suppose and I was on LSD, at firstI I thought either these are really great jazz musicians 'joking around' or really high musicians having an epiphany. it wasn't too long after that that I became a huge Tony Williams fan although I've already been listening to him on Miles' albums etc. by the way, the vinyl version of "EMERGENCY" has beautiful distortion on it that some CDs reissues might've cleaned up, you want to hear it the vinyl way, story behind it might've been that they were recording very late night in the studio and at least the low end wasn't very well-controlled which probably distorted the vinyl or something like that, but the combination of the kick drum being distorted along with Larry's foot on the Hammond is magical and might've had an influence on how Louis tunes his kick drum?
yes it has gotten better and better. Keep going. Your life long fans love you and would love more. You are a true artist that needs to just do what you would do.
that's so cool he was so excited by his brand new huge sounds. That excitement is still felt in that music, to this day... it still feels so exciting. whenever I play it out in public people comment on it. many never heard it but they still feel the total power in it. I love telling them it's from 40 yrs ago :)
Thumbs up if L.C picked your favourite Mahler track!!! I usually struggle to remember which Mahler piece is the reason I own the boxed Leonard Bernstein collection. Got the box because I knew it would be there somewhere. Bent the cardboard sleeve to tell me 'its somewhere here' Awesome stuff to know L.C loves that same track most of all. So many small nuances in there, I have yet to hear any place else, that just set off goosepimples.
