Are these worth getting performance wise? I’ve seen mixed things. I’ve got a boosted type s street car and I don’t plan on going over 500 hp anytime soon and I’ve read mixed things

Yes they are, because the caliper will sit too close to the wheels. You will need a spacer for the inside diameter of the tl type s rotor to fit inside and you’ll also need one for the front of the of the rotor because usually the offset of the rsx and the ep3 wheels won’t work
I’m doing the same brake setup on my ep3 and I have the 05-06 rsx type s wheels which are 17x7 and the caliper sits on the back of the wheel spokes. I believe you’ll need a 15mm wheel adapter spacer to clear the wheels
@@dC5alex yes our shim is designed to correct the offset to center the rotor. The shim is very thin it's just to offset just a very small amount that we do not want to cut off the caliper. The amount of negative offset it adds is negligible so if you have good fitting wheels already, bolting on our kit will not result in them poking way out. Unmodified calipers will require a much thicker spacer and WILL in fact push your wheels out a significant amount. Just another reason why our setup is better 👍
Hey man awesome video, we will probably link/embed this on our product page if that is ok with you, this is a great walkthrough/DIY. We'll be chasing the threads from now on for the mounting ear threads to clean that up. Hand tools prevents stripping but yeah some folks love the impact tools. I do recommend adding some red loc tite to the bolts if you are doing any HPDE/track driving just for extra insurance.

Had similar issues with my Acura RL BBK that I got powder coated. I had to chase the threads going into the 2 halves as there was coating inside and destroyed 2 threads using power tools. Luckily was able to save with by chasing and using ARP Bolts with their assembly lube.
@@Newyen6MT powder coaters should mask these areas up but it's not always done or only one side is masked and some stray powder ends up on the other end
@@luedetailing7331 For sure, I was luckily able to save it by chasing and using ARP. Was pretty annoying. Same for the bleeder screw, hella material on the threads
Hi I was in need of some help I replaced all bulbs checked and replaced fuses with new ones even if they were not popped also replaced brake light pedal switch When turning lights on. Bulbs go on but still nothing when pressing the brake pedal Any ideas or if possible to point me in right direction

I have the same exhaust you can either mess around with the hangers or try to push down the exhaust from the frame (by the end of the headers) just a little to give it some space between both. That’s what helped the rattling go away

For this video I was on factory ECU with Invidia 300 catback and that it for performance wise. The Dyno clip at the end was just an old video back when i was tune.
In prison after working out crazy calestinicts for lot of months built muscle lost weight bro I still could not do a pull up so I stopped trying and I would sometimes do “hangs” or “negatives” and then one day I woke up I could do a bunch of pull ups after not trying for a while 😆 was crazy
