Hey I'm Kaylam Kenny Beddoe and I am the average indoor go karter, i started consistently doing go karting around late april of 2022 and hoping to push to the top and become one of the fastest Heavyweight drivers in the Uk.
@GingerKarting i would have to sadly be 16. Im giving the junior category another shot this year hoping i can claw back the result i was looking for last year
Hi Kay! I’m only 11 years old and do karting just for fun. (Don’t tell anyone but I pretend to be 13 so I get the adult kart hehe) I really want to learn how to drift and ace the corner where the first downward ramp was because (sometimes) I crash into it. Btw Please tell me if you are coming to this track anytime soon and I might say hi!
@xamier9122 ah alr. To answer ur question, for turn 1 you need to try and stamp on your brake to get the back wheels to slide, Try to turn and do that at the same time and you should see your times begin to fall
@xamier9122 not if you do it quickly. Just do a small stamp and come off the brake. Build it up aswell, dont try to do it on ur first lap, slowely work ur way into it each lap
There definitely be weight classes in the Junior category because its completely unfair when someone is 70-100 kg racing against some little 50kg underweighted babies
@@kaykarting ah damn well you know what they say if one man can’t win the other can so I’ll try and win and I’ll give credit to you chances I win is 0% but locals I can and I’m making sure I will
7:34 For turn 2 overtake. It's definitely the best opportunity you could possibly have without him making a mistake but I agree you probably cant dive there, pretty sad
@@kaykarting really? i think youve got a really competitive time anyways, is that time gained just through smoother lines? i always lose time just before the ramp down on the chicance and taking the turn up the ramp. you got any advice lol
@@kaykarting Yeah same. Racing against my mate whos 70 kilos. Getting mid 38s and hes a half a second to a second quicker than me atm but Ill try and copy your lines next time im there. How much do you think weight plays an impact on this track? I notice it most at the hairpin/upramp personally but not sure how much time its worth per lap round here.
Dude, it's rental karts. Take a fucking Xanax and chill out! We all like to race and see how fast we can go and make a competition of it, but you don't need to be so disrespectful to the other drivers just because they can't keep up with you/aren't experienced racers. It's not Formula One, so stop treating it like it is.
@@maxito7463 yep 100% understandable! Race academy on an early sunday morning is £25 so if you feel like it save a bit up and give it a try at your local teamsport
I go to public karting sessions all the time with the bois and sometimes you get people that are so bad a dog could drive better or you get decendents of max verstapan
@@AdelWhips indoor karting is all about finding grip, Try and drive to where the grip is. As you can see in this vid im actually sliding a lot so that means theres way more time in this lap if it was set on a grippier track.
Ikn ur pain that im a heavy driver Can i give tips that if u do bikc just have fun and do hard racing hey im no gnius in karting actually with the elite driver im just a rookie to them and they are just crazy fast but ye u did what u can
Thanks man! I tried my hardest but just couldnt keep up with such little practice and with the track not suiting me one bit but will come back stronger next year in the heavyweighy catagory
