Honestly, I wouldn't buy it for one simple reason: I change my helmets every 2 years and the fact that one of the pieces is glued to the helmet means I can't just take it off and put in the next helmet. Hjc, shoei, schuberth, they all have it integrated in the helmet, that's the way to go.
I'd give anything to hang out with this guy for a day!! THE most badass bike rider I've ever seen. Just a bonus he loves the things I love(fishing, RC cars, bikes, family)!!
Hello there Nolan, does the B101R suppose to have an USBC port cover of some kind? I’ve bought it for my helmet, set looks like brand new, voids of a box untouched. Even the manual shows something of a cover kind but it’s not attached to my set. Can you help me out?
Great helmet. Lighter and a bit more quieter than the N-104. Be aware if you have the N-Coms (we have B902L R) you will need a different Keypad Adapter plate ('E' stamped in plastic). After sending an email to Nolan Italy they replied: "To install the B902L system on the new N120-1 helmet, a specific adapter is required (ref. E). Contact the retailer where you made the purchase to receive it." I'm in Australia so thankfully a Nolan Rep found one, but they aren't readily available here ... yet!
Don't buy this junk! the B902X is rubbish. It doesn't work with Alexa/Siri, it's too quiet, the sound is tinny, the controls are unintuitive, it uses an ancient proprietary USB socket, the software is about 10 years out of date, the voice control doesn't work, there's no way to call anyone that isn't on the speed dial list without looking at the contacts on your phone, which you could do if it worked with Alexa. It's the same price as the 90s with the emergency stop light but the X version doesn't have that. Really, just don't buy this rubbish. The X-1005 helmet is fine but a little noisy and because the idiots at Nolan want you to waste money on this junk the speaker pockets are too small to fit Cardo JBL speakers. The Cardo Freecom 2x is less than half the money and more than twice as good!
It is the worst intercom I have ever had. It is poorly designed. The left and right connections disconnect from the center module because the connection is poorly designed and does not grip well. I had to glue them on, because it disconnected with any movement of the helmet, and I had to dismantle it to reconnect it. A disaster.
DO NOT BUY THIS COMBO - unless you confirm with the reseller that the N-Com packaging contains the "E" adapter prior to purchase. Many resellers are selling old stock\inventory of the N-Com series that only contains an "A" and "C" adapter (prior to the N120-1 helmet release). The "E" adapter is required to install to a Nolan N120-1 helmet. And you will hit brick walls from reseller and Nolan trying to simply get an "E" adapter. This applies to both B602 and B902 series.

So grateful for your comment! I asked that they (reseller Muziker) confirmed that the E-adaptor was included. They opened the package and it was not included (but fantastic service, that they checked manually). So I had to cancel the buy, and I have now bought it another place (Moto-store) where they could confirm the E-adaptor was included. So thanks again.
I recently purchased the Nolan N120-1,and thought I could transfer the N Com from my old Nolan helmet. Unfortunately, the N Com did not fit on my new helmet. Bought new N Com communication set,in the set were 2 mounting adapters A and C Unfortunately, this helmet requires adapter E, which is not (yet) available. Louis will soon come out with a suitable N Com for the Nolan N120-1.
I have an N-Com B902R and a Nolan N120-1 helmet, purchased mid February. The N-Com kit only contains an A and C keypad adapter, there is no E adapter, which is required to install. Spoke to Nolan Italy and distributor Chrome Burners. Said just now starting to make the E adapter, but would not supply or sell me the part. Out $600 as N-Com cannot be installed and no other company provides Bluetooth for the N120-1.
very overpriced for what it can do. the audio quality is good but mine also didnt come with an adaptor plate to fit the n80 i ended up modding the standard plate and gluing it on the helmet. The responses from nolan below are a bit of a joke as people in 2023 are saying they are not getting the plate. The buttons are a good size but instead of a double press to skip track you have to press and hold the button and it takes a while also powering it off takes way longer than it should
Questo modello può montare qualsiasi interfono o devi per forza montare quelli della serie N-Com? Ho preso un Cardo Freecom 4x, si adatterà bene spero. Che mi dici?
