Welcome to our reaction channel! I am an Army National Guard Veteran and my wife is a Marine Veteran! We decided to start this channel to help us work through some of our past trauma and wounds, by digging deeper to the root of the issue. This journey for me (veteran dude) started when I was watching an NF reaction video and it sparked something in me, made me realize that there were some unhealed wounds in my past and child hood that were starting to effect my life today as a husband and father. I had become very numb to life and it was NF that helped me realize I had to face those demons to become the man/father/husband that I wanted to be. My wife has seen little to no NF so I wanted to share the journey with her, as I feel his music is relatable and can help those that dig into it. Our hope is that our testimony and journey can also help others that listen.
The original song was sung by a male which explains the lyrics. They reinterpreted the song to sound like a jazz track from the 50's. Haley is a fantatic singer who can perform any genre.
Haley; simply one of the best vocalists out there. She can sing ANYTHING!! Her stage presence is amazing, you literally have to watch what she does with her hands and eyes, crazy. Here she performs 12 of the 10 human vocal stylings lol. Anything she does with PMJ is pure gold. I would suggest the performance with her father (2 songs), at Chess records, just her voice and her dad's guitar. PS fun reaction. Original by Radio Head.
My first time watching your channel and I will certainly be watching more. I think rhis song is her best, naturally with 124 million views. My third favorite is Seven Nation Army. And my seond (link below) is PMJ and Haley Reinhart covering "Don't Speak" by No Doubt (Sixties Style Cover) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Txi7QuO99kM.htmlsi=fTzxDZd27flsBK0w
great reaction veteran couple. haley reinhart is one the greatest, most unique vocalist of our time. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current popular songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak". i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft emotional vibrato voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo double platinum cover of elvis presley's popular hit "can't help falling in love" for an extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_uNpEbt7w_o.html ). enjoy! 😎
Right? Quality top shelf. See her cover of "seven Nation army" or Don't Speak. This woman's voice is phenomenal. This is a cover of Radioheads song. Good ta see yall.
Creep was originally recorded by Radiohead in the 90’s. Totally different vibes from this cover. Haley originally stated her career participating in the 10th season of American Idol. She went on to record 9 videos with Postmodern Jukebox, a group that takes current songs and rearrange them into vintage style. Haley was raised by musical parents. She learned to scat from her father as a baby. At the age of 8 she learned to yodel. In high school she was the lead singer in the jazz band. Haley is adept at singing any genre, including jazz, blues, classic rock and ballads. Her favourite group are The Beatles. Two other songs with Postmodern Jukebox worth reacting to are Seven Nation Army and Don’t Speak.
She seems very talented in that regards! Thank you for the history lesson and insight! We appreciate fans that fill us in on details that we don’t know!
It's a cover of Radiohead's Creep which is a great song in itself. Y'all should give it a listen and see what you think. Haley's version is my favorite. She's a spectacularly talented singer.
Fun reaction! Taras and Improver are both so damn talented. Check out the version of this song on Improver's channel, their GBB tag team wildcard entry. It's even better!
WELCOME BACK! ❤❤❤ 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 HOPE THE NEW PLACE HAS BEEN WORKING OUT! ❤❤ (REN "The Hunger" for beatboxing/fast REN or "The Tales of Jenny and Screech 13+ minute version for pure awesomeness and a mind trip!) Glad you're back! .......deep fake😂😂😂😂
Not in the new place yet, probate court between the kids and the state appointed rep was on the 16th, hopefully an answer before end of month. Current closing date is Oct31
While I have been a fan of beatbox since the early 90s... I do have an issue with this new style where they do post production effects and then act as if its all 100% live... YES, they are both amazing beatboxers live, but they have been posting a lot of videos with post effects while not being clear that they are in fact using effects. I have an issue with that.
Thank you for the comment! There’s a note at the beginning of the video apologizing for the audio! We recorded this probably a month and a half ago and I’ve been trying to repair it for the better part of it! Finally paid someone to fix it the best they could! Thank you for the kind words!
We will try! It’s hard to get through everything we want to get through and don’t want to stray too far off course of our original purpose of starting reacting! Thanks for the comment!
Yeah at the beginning I apologize for the sound, spent a better part of a month trying to fix it myself and then finally paid someone to fix it the best they could!
I hope that your busy summer has wrapped up nicely and that your changes in life go very well for you. Your reaction is hilarious! If you want to know how either of their names is pronounced, just watch any of their wildcard videos on their channels. They introduce themselves at the beginning. To hear both names in one video, check out their GBB24 wildcard of Faded. Improver has been accused of being AI on several occasions; mostly jokingly. And Taras has had people downright call him fake. That's why they decided to name their tag team Fake & Autotune as a sort of shot back at the bullies and naysayers. This duo is pure talent, their harmonies together are perfection and I can't wait to see them win the GBB24 tag team title! Thank you for reacting to this video and sharing it with your viewers! Have a wonderful day! 😊
Nope, we are still crazy busy with in the process of waiting for our house to get finalized in probate court and moving, expecting child #3 and kids now in school! Thank you for the comment and the insight! We probably recorded this a month and a half ago, I’ve been trying to repair the audio for most that!
Thank you for your reaction to Faded by Taras and Improver (Pronounced Improve-r to make better, not Improv-er)! He's part of Ya Na Ha (along with Improver), ZHU is the musician that they covered when they did Faded. This is also the song they did for their GBB24 tag team submission as Fake & Autotune. They are among the best beatbox tag teams, if not the best. They mesh perfectly and, while not brothers, they have the chemistry of brothers. It makes each of their collaborations enjoyable and flawlessly balanced. Appreciate you checking this out - Спасибо!
Well now you have! Just cause we do reactions a bit different, take a little more time, we realize not everyone likes how we do it. Thankfully for you, there are plenty of other reactors out there that just listen to the song. Thanks for the comment!
Great reation! Nobody is expecting that. Suggest to react to DAX, which can be your sort of 3rd journey. To Be a Man (3 versions of it), Life, the trilogy of his spiritual journey: Dear God, Book of Revelations and Child of God, and his journeys fighting his depression.
Thanks for the great reaction and sharing your part of story, where you are always referring to God no matter what happens. The best and worst part of the song is the make-a-wish candle blown, where she has to create her own imagination of happiness with her mom being functional as a mom, which match directly with the lyrics; who I'd be, if i was happy. Then she tried to break the generational curse by visiting her mom. You need to react to LIFE by DAX as well, and his others songs. NF, DAX, REN, TOM, are artists that the world needs rigth now.
Thank you for the kind words and the comment! We love this song so much! We are working through some big life changes moving in the next few months but we will be getting more content out soon!
Im addicted to alcohol, i struggle every day with the loss of my dad. I struggle every day doing my best at work. Ive earned two NAMs in the last year, i really try my best.
We appreciate you sharing. A loss of someone you care for can be really tough. Sometimes all you can do is do you best and sometimes, when that isn’t enough you call out to God to help you get through it, face it and heal. Many people are holding on to so much pain and shame and guilt, God is the only one that can help take that away! Feel free to email if you want to connect. Veterancouplereacts@gmail.com
When you've lived in agony, isolation, and depression for so long, it becomes your comfort zone. You don't want to continue suffering, but it's all you've ever known.
Very true! Life is tough for a lot of people, and that does become the normal for them. It takes a lot of self work to break that comfort zone and redefine that. Thanks for sharing!
You’re not alone. I feel the same. The lyrics fit me perfectly. I don’t know who I’d be if I was happy and even when I feel better I feel like something is off. NF is great. His videos are like movies and his music is a story. It’s art
