By the way, just a thought about your nuln oil on the shield being too dark. Is it the newer formulation or the older one? If you were following Warhipster he used the newer formulation, so I thought maybe that could have been where your results differed. Looks great either way
Thanks mate. Was fun taking time to paint this guy. However i can't say it's how I always paint. I think I'm going to paint a few more of the bigger minis and take time with them
@basecoat8023 it's broken lore. GW can never admit that SWs attacked Thousand Sons because of Librarians and now they have Librarians named Rune Priests. On the other hand, Templars have no Librarians with no true reason at all. Amateurs.
Great vid helped me today paint my first ever mini and I’m really happy with how it turned out thanks to you 😁 hope you make some more vids like this one p.s good to see another Aussie on here.
Wow! That end result is badass. I’m holding out painting my terrain until I get my streaking grime. I’ve yet to try ak products so curious about something. After you’re finished, you went back in and picked out details to paint. Was that because you didn’t want the wash on those parts or just a decision to go back in and paint more because it looked awesome ;) ?
Good luck with you new Chanel - subscribed in hopes of painting tutorials - you should have shown how the grey side of the battlefield is ruined because of permanent placement markers.
Mate i think this is a great set for new players that want to get a feel for 40k. The extra money for this "command edition" box compared to the "elite edition" is great value for the full Rule book, let alone the $150 AUD worth of terrain. All IMO of course.
