brother, this engine is not smooth like honda , suzuki or yamaha, this engine feels buzzy as triumph speed 400 & duke 250 engine. but less viby than duke 250. most importantly this bike is very very comfortable & rider friendly.... but always take several test rides before making any decision. milage test is coming soon.
I have a query regarding engine oil capacity of gixxer 250. As per my knowledge the capacity is 1.2 l but during a recent service today in Bangalore they have mentioned motul 7100 10 w 40 1 litre in the service invoice. If they put only 1 litre, is it bad for the bike? I tried connecting with the service advisor, but failed. Looking for advice and suggestions. TIA.

Service center mechanics keep adding small amount of grease on rollers. I asked them NOT to. but they said if not add small layer of grease around rollers, they may needs to chance back it in very short time. but what I experience is now, my belt slips sometimes in slow speeds. Next time I will replace rollers myself using your tutorial. Thank you very much 👍

Brother, it is normal, it will eventually produce less heat, especially after 1000 kms & 1st service. further it will reduce with 2nd & services. keep the RPM under 4000 before 1st service. (1000 kms.) it is a bit heat generating engine unlike Honda or Suzuki.
