Why would anyone want to live in Illinois? With the whole world in mind that is the dumbest thing ever. I live in Milwaukee and thank god I don’t live in Illinois but would rather be in Florida. Note, I lived in Schaumburg for a couple of years, it was a strip mall hell.

They're all spoiled rich kids that never really grew up. They have a sense of entitlement. How do I know this? Because I work for a medical company who gets calls all day, everyday from the precious princesses of Naperville. They married their high school sweethearts and he bought them a three quarter million dollar home in Naperville and they act like 6 year old children when they can't get their way. They're not used to inconvenience, disappointment, or not getting what their little heart desires. They're all grown women who act like their still daddy's little girl. And of course they're all snobs. I could go on and on.
I don't or never lived in Naperville. But my BIL moved there. His kids went to Naperville North or South #Whichever 1-is the Huskies? And it was a treat going to the Footballl games. We had a picnic in the Park w/the Gazebos, near the train & it was so much fun. We had a spot to cook + Electricity. Maybe too much fun? The next year we couldn't use the same area & couldn't use our grill. We had to try to cook on filthy park grills & Police came by several times. Real bummer. It's a trek to get there from Chgo. Ive been pulled over a few times for seemingly nothing. Their kids had a few racial incidents. After my BIL's kids went away to College, he sold his home & moved back to Chgo & got a Condo Downtown. Smart Move.
This video lacks reality. I Work in Naperville. But i could never afford to live there. And i have a good job to there. Working for a school district. Home pricing and taxes just make it to costly. I live in Will county and taxes there are at least somewhat manageable. Unless you make 6 figures or more. The dream of home ownership in Naperville. Is just unrealistic. Another downside. Is in and near the downtown area. Its losing its historic charm. Tearing down the smaller beautiful houses with character. Naperville is losing its history daily as this is being done all around town.
Too crowded, always congested like it's Christmas shopping time. Couldn't pay me to live there. Not to mention WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what it is. A lot of people are fake there as well. Did I mention the taxes? Way higher than the high taxes in all of this garbage state.
My childhood friend from our little farm town in Iowa moved to Naperville. I once visited him and his family after they had lived there a couple of years and they all turned into snobs, including the parents.
Pay attention to the road. Dhstracted driving kills more people than drunk driving...you actually take your eyes off the road and hand off the wheel to film a social media video 😂 You're cringe asf
Our family was from the NYC suburbs, but we lived in a Chicago suburb (Downers Grove) for three years. I’d say Chicago was generally colder in the winter and maybe hotter in the summer, but there wasn’t a huge difference.
Regarding the complaint that it is too expensive to live in Naperville. The complaint is legitimate since Naperville is is very expensive compared to other suburbs. Any attempt to compare Naperville with downtown Chicago is very misleading.
Clever idea for a video for those relocating into the Chicago area who don't want to live in the city. I've lived in Naperville. It's very nice. Show them the Riverwalk and Centennial Beach too! 😊
As a life time member of the far western suburbs Let me state one unequivocal fact. Chicago is a Democratic cesspool. When his highness old man Daley was in power he ran the whole state, and we paid taxes so Chicago could benefit. The suburbs are a paradise compared to Crook county!
