A lot of new cars these days don't anymore have foglamps, but in the case of the X5, the adaptive LED headlights are already offering way better performance, especially with how far the beam stretches, in any driving condition without blinding other drivers.
BMW Phils. should have just offered a lone trim of the X5 with this overall enhancement. And they should have priced it reasonably, knowing that there are a lot of X5 fans and customers who are willing to buy. Its just in the high side of the price. Very nice review though!
Does the new x5 msport's suspension better than the pre-facelift version in terms of ride comfort? Hope you get a hands-on review of the Mercedes GLE 450 for comparison. 🙂
That we're not sure since the pre-facelift X5 M Sport doesn't have adaptive dampers and instead gets the firmer M Sport suspension. In that context the adaptive dampers make it ride a lot better, especially on badly paved roads. Versus a previous X5 with adaptive dampers, that we don't have an experience though.
@@GoFlatOutPH oh okay, that explains the harsher ride of the previous gen x5 msport. I'm cross shopping between this and the Mercedes GLE 450 AMG line 4matic. Thank you for the clarification, Sir Isaac.
Hmm road to 20k subscriber?!? You deserves more than that , I wouldn't be surprised if you reach more than 500k or 700k by the end of year 2025. By the way nice review, what I needed to know sa EV ay kung ganun din ang gas pedal nyan, I mean does it also feel gradual diminishing ang speed upon releasing tha gas pedal? compared from internal combustion? Siguro kailangan ko na ngang mag test drive ng EV.
Thank you for your kind words! :D Sa releasing po ng gas pedal parehas lang po sila sa gas-powered car, pero most EVs have adjustable regenerative braking. By default, it will feel like a gas engine lang din sa pagbagal po, pero in some cars, in their max regenerative braking setting, it's enough for an EV to be driven with just one pedal (similar to engine braking at first gear). The higher the intensity ng regenerative braking, the higher the charge rate din po that goes back to the battery.
@GoFlatOutPH hmm ganun po pala, that's the only thing that I'm bit worry kasi, yung bang just like ang acceleration pedal sa bump car dun sa Araneta's Fiesta Carnival na when you releases the pedal bigla-bigla din ang pag hina ng acceleration, but now I know. Salamat.
@@bentumblingh6640 malls may charging station.
@@bentumblingh6640 there are already more than 300 charging spots (not stations, but chargers in general) across Metro Manila, and in most Ayala and SM malls nationwide. Rosario La Union already has 180 kW Shell Recharge DC fast charger, Subic already has a 25 kW DC charger at UniOil, while Baguio already has more than 10 chargers, 2 of which are 60 kW DC fast chargers. It's already the same case in many cities in Visayas and Mindanao. If there's an SM or an Ayala Mall there, chances are, it already has a charger, too.
I just want to commend your review of this car!!! I watched all philippine review its just like copy pasted and too generic. And smooth review despite you driving.Thank you
10-15 years battery lifespan. How much is the replacement cost versus ice, and don’t start that it’s eco friendly with the way it mines its lithium, precious minerals for batteries. Btw, it doesn’t come with a spare tire.
IMO, the target market of the Seagull or even the Dolphin would be those who would like to leave their bigger ICE cars/SUVs at home for city/short trips as a second vehicle. possibly those with disposable income to replace EVs every 5 years (as the tech is still new) instead of keeping it beyond 5 years. Other than the savings on fuel (charging at home or malls), Coding exemption and easy maneuvering around the city would be its other advantages (instantaneous torque) than the Wigo or the Brio.
@@rgmercado it's design life is more than 15 years. Lithium iron phosphate battery has 5000 cycles before it gets down to 80 percent capacity. You can charge it's battery from 0 to 100 everyday for 13 years. Now it's not possible that normal user would travel in seagull for 300 Km everyday for 13 years. Even if they travel 150 Km daily, this battery with last for 26 years.
@@oksyar understood. No question on the batt lifespan. Its more of how the target market of this EV in PH (with disposable income) will behave as technology gets better and better and EVs will be cheaper (thus the potential reselling them in 5 years or less). Budget conscious users will probably still settle for ICE vehicles (brand new or second hand) due to prices.
@@rgmercado that's what seagull is for. It's cheapest proper 4 door EV. Honestly, you wouldn't need to resell it for a very very long time. ICE vehicles tend to demand a lot of maintenance and regular visit to workshops after 5 years. Due to so many moving parts, transmission, engine oil, gear problems, break pads, engine spark plugs etc etc. Not to mention high fuel prices. Those who have solar panels at home have free "fuel". And yes EVs will get cheaper in future. That doesn't help the case for ICE vehicles, their resell price will also significantly drop when EVs will be very cheap in future.
Lakas mka singil tax pilipinas times two na yung presyo compared sa china tapos 3rd word country parin tayo🤣 kaya nga wla pa ako voters id kasi my vote wouldn't change Philippines corruption.
Kaya natin sa totoo lang. As soon as we can collectively get our crap together and have those with power to actually have the integrity instead of occupying their time lining their own pockets and actually supporting our local industry. We collectively have the know-how. We're just undermined locally.
9:17 it doesn't bother me. My wish for Toyota is that they installed projector lights instead of just LED for zenix 's headlights. It is not bright enough for my liking and the foglights are kinda inexistent.
One of the most beautiful so far in mid SUV . This model the titanium 4x4 especially the black no need to add accessories just paint protection film marami na mura ngayon . Ugly if you put sunvisor n window shud have black tint n medium of front n back windshueld. Best design talo ang fortuner miux terra montero . It looks better than landcruiser LC300 or prado n pajero. Hi tech na instrumentation. Credit to ford design . Hindi nakakasawa .better than zenix .mukha kang bigtime . Better than rangerover 2022 or older n better than old lexus 570 .
