I remember this service 161 when I stay at Sengkang from 2021 till Aug 2022 before I move to Boon Lay. It was so long journey ahead cuz I work at Marsiling.....
Very stupid and wasting manpower and resources bus route. But this is what LTA wants. It says will extend to hougang AVE 3 but to which side towards amk or towards eunos? If towards amk then it is a waste of time as they have kovan and hougang mrt stations under northeast line. But if towards eunos then it is a different story. Or most likely case will be after hougang ave 3 make a right turn to tampines road then turn right to defu industrial estate then to hougang ave 3 then bartley road then the normal existing route.
