They should’ve never replaced Jason because it ain’t write to change this movie at all and write his role out of the film, but Tem has the best, most iconic voice in Star Wars, so it’s hard to stay mad
Wingreen's voice is kinda a product of the time. I mean, just close your eyes as you hear his lines and imagine an animated villain in a Hanna Barbara cartoon, and it's a no-brainer that THAT'S the voice of a villainous bointy hunter in the early 80's. I understand the change as we have realized today that, in a galaxy far far away, the many cultures, languages, and accents would vary much more than we previously thought
I really don't understand why they felt the need to change his voice. They could have just done it like how they did Anakin to Vader. Fett without the helmet would sound like Morrison and with it it should sound like wingreen.
A lot of these changes to Star Wars make sense on paper, but end up detracting from the original source material. This is one of those. This makes boba fett just a copy paste of jango fett now.
He needs to do another interview theorizing Boba being hired to get Luke in A New Hope. With Luke's family resisting, it was Boba BBQ time, which Luke then finds later when he returns. BOOM! IT'S CANON!
Do you know if Hasbro is supposed to have a Star Wars Livestream from SDCC revealing more preorders today on Friday ? I know they are having a panel but i wasn't sure about a Livestream
@@bobafettfanclub Thanks. Not sure if this is True but I've been told the New Star Wars figures will be revealed today but the actual preorders will be available tomorrow.
@@TheMandalorianFanChannel That's often the case from past conventions. But we'll likely hear this year's plan starting at 2pm Pacific today, posting to the link above.
To me, Morrison’s Boba feels like a mercenary that takes whatever work is offered. He takes no pleasure but also no remorse, a job is just a job to him. While Windgreen feels more malicious with his tone, and has a deep enjoyment of the work he does. Almost like Cad Bane. Both are great.
I remember when i first watch the trilogy in 95, it was just re-released on VHS man i love the orginal, just how they were even before the special edition in 97. I remember my big bro bought me them maybe to relive his childhood lol but it was the best.
I did a renaissance festival last year during time traveler's weekend dressed a Boba Fett and I had to stop so many times for kids wanting pictures or saying Hi and the adults were just blown away with my build. This year all the bug's are fixed and adding a gaffy stick and all the lights will be working this time thanks to much better batteries 👍👍
I don't care how much it makes sense retconing it. The original voice should have remained. It's so much better, and makes Boba Fett seem more evil and menacing.
When reading Boba Fett related books, I think of Wingreen's voice as his helmet modulating his voice While i think of Morrison's voice as Boba's actual voice and inner monologue
When I am made dictator, all Star Wars media released after April 1999 will be destroyed. Then, we will write a new prequel trilogy that actually makes sense and isn't stupid and properly preserves plot twists in the original trilogy. Immediately after completing this trilogy, we will commence filming a live action adaptation of the Thrawn trilogy as Episodes VII-IX. Additionally, we will make a TV series adaptation of the Rogue Squadron book series. Also, LucasArts will be reborn and work will immediately commence on additional titles in the TIE Fighter series of video games.
