I just got one of these last week dirt cheap. Not sure where to start when it comes to a transmitter and batteries. Could you point me in the right direction. This is my first fpv drone experience
This quad is set up to bind with a DSMX/DSM2 transmitter. Should be able to pickup a used Spektrum for cheap. Or buy a transmitter that can uses JR modules like a radio master and get a module for DSMX. This would give you more options in the future.
I am not completely informed on how to setup CF or ELRS but I believe this board lacks the amount of UARTS to properly set them up. I could be wrong though.
Hi WubDubz, congratulations on your TUTORIALS, could you help me, with my MATEKSYS MINI VTX. I would like to know how to unlock the POWER, why be LOCKED at 25mw. Do you have any advice for me ??? Thanks so much
Nice video. Now that we have Tinyhawk 2 available, I'd say skip the camera upgrade and the VTX and just put in a nice clover antenna to give your Tinyhawk 1 a whole new life. You are going to max out the built-in FrSky receiver before you'd need 200mw VTX. Also stock camera is not that bad and it much better protected that TH2.
hey so i was having trouble setting up smart audio thanks to this awesome video I can now get into the menu with my controller but for some reason it will not let me change the band frequency of the power any idea how to fix this
excuse me? over 100$ transmitter has that big gaps tf i use 40$ flysky i6 and dosent have big gaps the fuck scam wast of money start with budget !!!!!!!1
Thanks so much for the video! I am looking to buy the Tinyhawk 1, or S (S only difference is to be able to use 2s LiPos?) as more than 25mW is not allowed here anyway. Can I just buy the camera and solder it in there or do I need to upgrade anything else with it ?
@@CrashNBurnRacing Okay thanks for your quick answer, so I connect the 5v from the vtx to the 5v port from the rgb pad and then the Smart Audio cable from my vtx to the led port from the rgb pad, right?

Pretty much cloned what you did but heeded your waning! It is awesome that you knew how to use the ckt board Co. Reading the options I was like Waaattt??? and that the site grabbed a zip, knew what to do with it and showed a preview! Amazing!
Well for anyone else showing up here in 2020, the prices have changed quite dramatically. I just set up as he shows here and part 1 comes to $166.10! Part 2 is $123 and part 3 came to $123 as well. Not sure what Seeed is up to, but dang what a shame.
