THE QUALITY IS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!! It truly is not worth purchasing your leather helmets anymore. They are not the same!!!! I think the XF1 could easily be made more American by having "trapezoid" decals round the top, and the option of a small leather front plate, slightly raised at the top.
Im British. In the UK the Gallet as we call it, is popular here. But I feel for the US market it needs to be much more Americanised. To have 8 "trapezoid" reflective markings round the top. The front plate design revised so it can carry a small raised leather plate. But I think, even better would be if it had a completely new outer shell, with 8 ribs on the top like the classic 8 comb. At the lower rear would be delicate embossed patterns, as found on the rear brim of traditional helmets. There would be moulding at the base of the ribbed top which could mean a thick rubber band could be placed on the helmet, that could carry a wooden wedge, or a small torch. There would of course be fixtures on the side that torches and helmet cams could be attached to.
Right? I just got mine and the suspension clips were the wrong way and I couldn’t even put it in. If they were to put it in it would eliminate these manufacturing fuckups making each helmet 100% error free.
I saw your booth during Calgary's firefighter Stairclimb Challenge. I asked if the face shields could be made to help firefighters who wear correction prescriptions and was told you also do those. Thank you for keeping our heroes safe. ❤️
As far as the ocular visor installation, it's a pain in the ass. No direction for installation and unable to locate on YT anywhere. MSA does not even have a concise path to do this.
Further from face and nostrils is lesser fog and lesser need for breadth deflector... better than mx helmet with strap-on dragon-breadth mortal-kombat (instead of strap-on goggles).
