so, with intense outbreak of scalp itching that is at times, systemic, since Dupix is not working I plan to discuss with my Dermatologist switching to Xolair instead of Dupix. I have shaved my head for over a 2 decades and have never experienced itching like this, it simply presented suddenly and is now chronic. I was also diagnosed in the same year with a hiatal hernia and have experienced all the LPR symptoms. As well, I read a journal article about the comorbidity of urdacaria and LPR/GERD so I question, is this itching due to urdecaria. There have been nearly zero visible signs of a rash or anything, along with the itching, save for, "redness" upon the initial outbreak when I went to ER due to its severity. I also have chronic sinusitis that has been quite severe at times, another LPR symptom. I plan to ask my ENT doctor to do a pepsin test before I undergo a serious procedure, such as FESS. The GI doctor dismisses LPR as a legitimate diagnosis or potential cause of my upper respiratory symptoms. Additionally, pulmonary thinks it could be post viral airway disease, since I had a vicious case of the Flu early in 2023, which was seemingly the trigger to the cluster of symptoms I have had since. GI doctor is the most frustrating of the team, because he dismisses LPR. I want the pepsin test from ENT, seems like that could provide more support for the possibility of LPR.

I have a question. I never had food allergies or medical. When I was 22 and pregnant I was making ginger snaps with my oldest and noticed mouth itching. In my 30’s I had a blood test for allergies. Mind you I ate a lot of shrimp cocktail, it came back I was allergic to shrimp, cockroach droppings and a mold outside. I haven’t eaten shrimp since, but I never had a problem before, can I try cooked shrimp?

About 3 years ago I had PN due to a mosquito bite that turned into PN. I cured it. My dermatologist did a biopsy and they shaved off the entire mosquito bite area and it never itched again after that. HOWEVER, I recently got another mosquito bite that turned into PN. Do I have to get it shaved off every time to cure it? There’s got to be another way. I’ve tried freezing it off with a wart remover, but it did not work. Can anyone please share their cure?
