I haven't used the maschine so can't compare them. I would say the mpc is very capable in all the things you mentioned. I would buy it again if needed

I really like the hats too. Thought about getting one when they're £100, would you recommend?

@@VideoDaze definitely for that price. they released a tuner app for the bass, but it didn't seem to help much. that said, even without the built in distortion, the box has a lot of noise. like you can turn it up without anything playing and get a wall of hiss. it's...interesting to say the least. the sequencer is great though
