Love the sound of the bass singer, beautiful. The choir I sing in has this piece on its repertoire as well. This is a prayer needing a humble, modest approach, all singers should sound as one instrument. Not a piece to sing as individual voices but blend together. It should be sung much more legato, in long lines. My opinion, of course.

Regarding the tuning, for this song I use the DADGAD tuning. It's a wonderful song called "Every Man's Heart", written by Archie Fisher from Scotland and he very kindly gave me permission to record it on my fifth CD, 'Fields of Dreams and Glory'.
