Assalam Alaikum, The matter of praying kalimah after fard namaz and praying salawat after Jumu'ah are separate issues. I'm afraid this clarification doesn't really explain the original reasoning given behind stopping the qiyam for one week. For the sake of clarity, senior scholars of the Ahlus Sunnah have requested that the original video (jumu'ah 19th April 2024) explaining the reasoning be published. If the imam stands by what was said originally then scholars should be given the opportunity to understand the whole context. The original reason given previously (as explained by others) was that "many" people assume the action of congregational salawaat after Jumu'ah to be a fard/wajib. Firstly, if this is to be believed then it should have been clarified that it is not fard/wajib act. Before salawaat, a reminder should be given if deemed to be necessary. Secondly, a good bid'ah that is a permissible mubah/mustahab/nafl act repeated regularly at fixed times should not constitute a fear for it be understood to be a fard/wajib act. If the imam applies this principle, then many additional actions such as dua after congregational namaz should not be done regularly. Shouldn't the same principle be applied to other actions? Thirdly, the imam explained about a bidah sayyi'ah (an action that goes against the Qur'an and Sunnah) just before explaining why the salawaat should be paused for one week. What was the imam trying to imply? Not all practices have clear direct evidences from the Qur'an and Sunnah but they are deemed to be good, worthy actions without contradictions and with reasoning based on Qur'an and Sunnah Fourthly, should the imam educate the public on the differences in aqeedah before highlighting the differences in practices. The differences in aqeedah is more important and does require evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah. In general, the imam should clarify his stance on what he understands a bid'ah to be and whether he understands that there is room for regular congregational actions that do not contradict the Qur'an and Sunnah. We have noticed a lot of actions that were done are now slowly being eradicated such as durood before azan, zikr before monthly programs, Qur'an recitation before monthly programs, fateha/eesal swab at the conclusion of monthly program, congregational dua after sunnah/nafl, zikr after fard namaz, weekly zikr etc. These are deemed to be worthy actions by the Ahlus Sunnah. The wahabiyyah, deobandiyyah and other groups use the same argument as the imam originally did, to stop these practices and label us as innovators committing a sin. We agree with the imam that some of our practices need to be reformed but should worthy optional regular practices be temporarily halted? to simply respond to others? OR should we educate the masses on the deception that other people use to misinform and misinterpret, falsely accusing the Ahlus Sunnah? And more importantly clarifying the Ahlus Sunnah aqeedah and differences repeatedly so the public are safeguarded from wrong beliefs. Can the imam explain to the public the definition of the Ahlus sunnah. Can the imam explain taswwuf to the public so there is no confusion. Can the imam specify the scholarly heritage and chains that the Ahlus Sunnah follow. Salawat, salam, durood is a unique form of worship. Do it standing, sitting, regularly at fixed times, occasionally, individually or in congregation. There are no conditions and so there was no basis for the imam to pause for one week.

Where can the scholars of the Ahlus Sunnah view the full video where the respected imam explains during Jumu'ah why he proactively chose to stop the salaat-o-salaam that particular day. Which local scholars were/are satisfied with Imam Mahin's reasoning? Have you consulted the previous imam of the masjid, long-serving well-respected learned scholar of the Ahlus Sunnah and a compatriot of senior scholars nationwide, Allama Riaz Samdani? It may seem a minor issue to the public but at a scholarly level the imam's reasoning has very little foundation within the Ahlus Sunnah scholarship and tradition
DISCLAIMER: The concept of Shaytaan being jailed is an area of dispute between scholars, some scholars do assert that the minor shayateen continue their whispers even in the month of Ramadan, others state that the evil in Ramadan performed is a result of the evil of the nafs as Shaytaan is jailed.
The issue with the last video was that the Imam contradicted himself on the issue of Qiyam. He accepted it's desirability first and then recited a Hadith as a daleel to suggest that it is a bid'ah sayyi'ah (the Hadith about the being rejected from the hawd). Or atleast that's how it came across. Is it mustahabb or is it such a bida'ah that would have people rejected at the hawd? This video was a much better clarification on the matter. The istidlaal of the Hadith on the issue of salam on the previous video was weak.
The Mosque has always advocated the practices of Duaa and Qiyaam. The Imam said last week that Qiyaam is Mustahab and believing it to be Fard or Waajib is a Bid’ah, but some people assumed that we banned the Salam altogether, hence the clarification.
It is Ignorance to call this imam Shi'a for reporting knowledge of one of the four caliphs of Islam. Followers of the sunnah have to acknowledge the knowledge Ali RA had and preserved for us.
The more Muslims seek knowledge the more they leave Islam. Read quran with tafseer Ibn e katheer, al tabari at least 80% people will surely leave Islam.

The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم) is reported to have said: عليٌّ مع القرآنِ ، والقرآنُ مع عَلِيٍّ ، لن يفترِقَا حتى يرِدَا عَلَيَّ الحوْضَ “Ali is with the Qur’an and the Qur’an is with Ali, they will not separate until they reach me at the Hawd” All references of the Hadith are provided below, Al Hakim said the Hadith has a Sahih chain, also Imām Al Hafiz Al Alaa’i has called the Hadith Hasan, some have called the chain weak but even weak chains can be used for virtues unless they are proven to have a known liar or the Hadith is fabricated, just as our great Sunni scholars like Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal have affirmed.
