I enjoy riding both bicycles and motorcycles. This channel is about sharing the positive experience of the journey, the scenery, and the adventure of it. I hope you can also enjoy the ride through this channel as I have enjoyed watching the ride of others and enjoy the ride on my own and with others. Road trip!
Slightly paraphrased, Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never 'ride' in darkness, but will have the light of life."
In Japanese: イエスは言われた。わたしは、世の光です。わたしに従う者は、決してやみの中を '乗る' ことがなく、いのちの光を持つのです。
So, let us "Outride The Darkness." "闇を乗り切る"
Subscribe: If you want to be notified when I have a new 'ride' to watch, subscribe to this channel. Thank you.

Recording and removing this is breaking my brain. How did you do it?
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 2 года назад
I placed two screws into the agitator on roughly opposite sides. All I needed to do was pull up gently on both screws so the agitator would come straight up about 2 cm. My smart phone was in my right hand mostly held by the thumb and forefinger. I just needed two other fingers under the phone to pull up as the left hand did.

some coins eroded the edges of the agitator in my washing machine during spinning, so there is a gap between the drum and the agitator. Now, my washing machine does not stop spinning in draining out the water. Can you explain why? Thank you
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 2 года назад
First, try resetting the machine. check the manual on how to do that but the easy way which might work is just unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for 30 seconds. Just that might fix it. But since you mentioned coins the perhaps a coin is causing a problem. When you pull the agitator off look underneath it and check the drain area all the way through the hose. A coin might be blocking the proper draining of the machine. Hopefully it is one of those two easy checks. If not, the timer might need replacing.
@singapaul1
@singapaul1 2 года назад
Thanks a zillion. Do the eroded outer edges of the agitator affect the draining of the washing machine during the spin-dry phase? TQ
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 2 года назад
@@singapaul1 It shouldn't. But a space too large might mean small clothing items could get under it and cause problems.

what kind of screwdriver do you use? and do you turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise?
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 2 года назад
I use a large minus driver because it had a large 8mm blade and a long handle. You need the torque. Turn it anticlockwise but you will have to hold the agitator with one had so it doesn't move, or ask a friend to hold it.
@singapaul1
@singapaul1 2 года назад
Thank you so much. What is a 'minus driver'? The screw/bolt that is holding the agitator down is a Phillips-Slotted combo screw. Don't seem to be able to find one in the market that can fit this screw.
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 2 года назад
@@singapaul1 The combo screw means you can use either a 'minus' (flat bladed) or a phillips (plus) screwdriver. I just tested my new electric driver with a ph-2 size plus head and it took it out just fine.
@singapaul1
@singapaul1 2 года назад

Can't understand well, the speaker seem to be sleepy and can't explain well enough. Whats the problem of the water sensor, and how was it fixed? Is the agitator defective, what is wrong with is? how is the sensor related to the agitator. So the solution for both is simply to replace the agitator?
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 4 года назад
The water level sensor uses air pressure. The higher the water in the tub means a higher pressure in the air tube going up to the sensor. The holes allowing water to force pressure into the tube are under the agitator. Those holes were mostly rusted shut so they just needed to be opened and cleaned. You can't access those holes without removing the agitator. The agitator was also not working as the plastic cogs had stripped away with normal use. So the agitator needed to be replaced as the motor, belt and metal cogs from that were still OK. I am still using this machine today. :) I hope this helps you.

Hi, is it always possible to unscrew n take out the agitator to inspect? The last time the repair man charged me more than 120 Singapore bucks to replace the agitator. Now l m facing 2 different problems- water is filling forever n there is a humming noise at the spin dry cycle n clothes r not spinning dry. I am going to check if there is any blockade in the pump like a baby sock.😜

If I will go from Osaka to Fukushima it's better if I use Trina or I can go by motorbike ?
@timmer2007A1
@timmer2007A1 6 лет назад
My first question is which Fukushima are you going to? If you are going to the one with the nuclear reactor problems that is Fukushima prefecture and is north east of Tokyo. The Fukushima I am riding in/on is an island in Nagasaki prefecture west of Fukuoka, west of Osaka. The second question is what time of year? At this time of year going north east from Osaka through Tokyo it would be better to go by train or bus. Going west is much better weather wise but still cold until March. If you have the time a motorcycle journey is always better in the right conditions. Or, you could take a train to Fukuoka and then go by bike from there, assuming you are going to the west Fukushima.

Hi Chris. Thanks for your videos. My daughter and I play a game where we start your video and open googlemaps to find where you started. Then we follow the route on googlemaps and try and race you to the first junction where we get the googlemaps image of the junction and wait for you to ride through on the video with the images matching.Its a bit corny but a lot of fun for my little one!Thanks!

+Science Troll This Fukushima is a small island and town in Nagasaki prefecture which is on the larger island of Kyushu. The radioactive problems are in Fukushima Prefecture just north of the city of Iwaki which is on the main island of Honshu. That prefecture is located about 150 miles north of Tokyo. This Fukushima island where we were cycling is about 700 miles west of Tokyo. Japan has a lot duplicate names across the country.
