I think you technically missed the later parts of the motorbike chase, right up until Sean and Tom jump at eachother. I think that part of the bike chase, with the truck and all, might've jump cut from La Perouse to somewhere like Taren Point/Kurnell? I'm not entirely sure as it's all bushy, but it looks very familiar. In terms of filming, other than no direct way over there, it would make sense for them to have filmed that later scene at Kurnell, as it's just across the water from La Perouse. The final fight between Sean and Tom was otherwise on the rocks in La Perouse, I think towards Little Congwong Beach? Idk something like that. But otherwise, great job!
The prints that ran on that left platter tree with the orange rollers fed from the inside out, like traditional film platters? I noticed in the other video the prints on the right platter tree fed from the outside in. Did certain types of releases have to play from the right? Was the left for more traditional Hollywood releases?
Never knew Universal didn’t want trailers running with United 93. Don't think I've ever seen a film run without trailers at the cinema. Long shot but do you happen to know if this was the case in the UK?
I`d be scared to death if I had to thread that huge machine! Scared I would have part of the film twisted backwards somewhere with all the turns and such. lol
all the work and expensive really expensive machines and the magic theaters go through to bring movies to life in the big picture, show your appreciation next time and buy a ticket before theaters are extinct like blockbuster and netflix makes you nothing more than a couch potatoe !
LOL the Seinfeld inflation calculator was a bit off or Kramer lived on a REALLY nice place in 1972, 240 a person, 480 a month was 1,700 by 1992 when this aired and 3,700 today
It’s weird to think that, in this day and age where everything is digital, and you have the ability to watch a movie in your hand… One of the biggest names in the industry, with the best quality movies, is still using film.
