My primary carry is a Sig P365XL with a Holosun 407K 6moa dot. Sometimes I carry a Sig P365XL Spectre Comp with a dot and a weapon light. Right now I'm in the early stages of testing a Sig P365 Radian Afterburner+Ramjet with another Holosun 6moa dot.
I just saw this on my recommendations. But do y’all ever struggle bending down or perhaps tying your shoes ? Is there a law that goes against concealed carry during work ?
So it definitely makes it more difficult to bend all the way down to grab something, and tying your shoes, but there is going to be unfavorable situations for almost any way you carry. And as far as carrying during work you would have to check with your company’s rules. I believe most states give the employers the right to set those rules in place.
@@SosasSports yeah I can't do that. I still don't even understand pistol braces. It says "pistol" brace, but I own pistols, there's no where to attach a brace of any kind😅😅
Hmm. I’m considering getting the Springfield XD9 Service Model (I’m in CA so that XD is the same size as a G19X/G45) since you are able to carry a similar size pistol. I am most accurate and comfortable with the XD9 Service Model. The Glocks would make me spend more money for frame mods because of the size of my fingers.
I have a wedge I got for my Eclipse holster for my Sig P365 X-Macro TacOps. After a couple of days I took it off. Made the holster very uncomfortable, especially sitting down.
Oh really? Hmm I’ve had the opposite, it’s made it easier for me to sit down, but everyone is different and you gotta find what’s most comfortable for you! Thanks for watching!
Jeans with flex, good belt (best is nexbelt supreme appendix), stay in shape. I think those are the big 3. At 6’3” and a very athletic 210lbs I can carry what I want, even my 4.6” m&p 2.0 10mm with tlr1-hl and a tall mailbox optic without printing. Even in shorts and a tshirt. The supreme belt has a very slim buckle and I wear it offset to my left side hip. Really thins out the front. Always carry my pistol, a spare mag, then a fixed blade on my offhand side all Aiwb. Good video with good advice. As well as a hilarious intro.
Yeah it definitely helps being in shape! Give you much more room to carry a larger set up! I’ll have to give the nexbelts a shot! Thanks for watching! 💪🏼
As a larger guy I’ve always had trouble carrying appendix. But I’ve recently got a deep concealment holster and have been loving it. I don’t print nearly as much and my muffintop doesn’t get in the way. Also very comfortable when sitting compared to a regular IWB holster
@@SosasSports is my first holster with a sidecar so is different but I’ve been messing with different setups and I think got the right spot lol , I’m going to try it for a few days and see what happen before I put the blue loctite on the screws
Just saying I heard Macks Belts has great CCW leather belts. They are expensive, but they honestly look great. I'm not a formal clothing wearing guy, but I do plan on getting one after getting my next belt, for when I do want to look really sharp.
Hey bud. I like minimal setup aswell. Great simple/fun video. Keep up the good work. Just subbed to support my fellow 2A/guntuber brother. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
Broski! You just keep making bangers! I’m definitely a fan. You’re certainly one of us “protectors, 2A pros, self determined” or “autistic gun guy” either one 😂😂😂 I carry a CZ p10 so I get the Glock clone kicks ass. A MIC is pretty cheap for the Bluetooth variety
When in California Glock 19.3, w critical defense 124 g jhp, 10 rd mag in, 2 o’clock iwb holster, 2nd mag in carrier on left hip 10 o’clock, left pocket slim aluminum wallet w CCW permit, leatherman, right pocket Milwaukee razor blade knife, WileyX glasses (prescription w the bi focal)(I’m 55), bal cap or hard hat (still have all my hair and teeth 😬). When in Texas .. change out pistol to my Glock 19x and mags rock the 19 round w the stock extensions and same critical defense ammo … Wife runs a Glock 19.5…. Ruger pcc’s 9 mil w Glock adapters each house and not to far to reach for 33 round Glock mags or 50 round magpul drum … Nice video …rah.. r .. o blue crayon I’ll save for next video snack ..
Love that setup! Glock 19x I think are the perfect size for carrying! Thankfully I’m in Texas and don’t need to worry about the magazine laws! I appreciate you watching 😎💪🏼
I had more of a gut and it’s definitely less comfortable but I see bigger guys still wear them! That’s the only negative about these holsters is, unless you have a front that has one. There is no way of trying it out before you buy. And it’s a lot of money to not be sure!
Nope just FRT sights n lights only mods you’ll ever need, always get a yellow green nightfision/ameriglo FRT sight and a good light (tlr1/7a/x300),diy stipple the finger rest/trigger guard and shoot it till something breaks 😂,a lot of folks have RDs lack the fundamentals so when it breaks or causes a misfeed they’re SOL
I can see that perspective, that’s why I make sure my sights are co witness, so that if my dot dies I can still use my stock sights. I also still shoot pistols without dots to train without them as well! Thanks for watching, I appreciate the input!
Awesome review, we seem to have a lot of the same things in our range bags man! I appreciate the tip regarding "doubling up" on ear pro. May give that a shot. Keep up the good work.
I carried with an optic on my Glock 48MOS and a CR920 for about 4 years. I used the Holoson 407k green on both guns. It took about 6 months of training. Training for me included about 1000 rounds, lots of drawing and dry firing, and defensive pistol matches to be proficient with an optic. The dot is a true game changer for those with aging eyes. It is worth mentioning that shooting with optics really exposes the poor fundamentals, it did for me anyway. I have recently changed my whole EDC philosophy and went full circle, and switched back to a Stock compact sized handgun and the only change I made were adding the XS big dot sights. From what I have already found for a true self defense carry gun, I am faster with effective hits in the "zero" for IDPA. With an optic my groups were tighter, especially past 15 yards. Optics lights and mods do have a place on guns, but for me it is no longer on my edc.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment! I think there is a lot to be said about having a stock reliable gun as an EDC, the less you change and add to it, the less there is to go wrong. And for EDC, reliability is your best ability. All the upgrades to your gun aren’t going to save you if it jams first shot! Thanks for you input!
