Any thoughts on manaphy instead of the vitality band? I feel like being able to stop greninja & ogerpon snipe or even kyurem is very important to survive against those decks thoughts?
@@perrilox5741 I think it’s not a bad change at all! Manaphy is a pretty decent inclusion right now for Drago and Palkia so if you expect a lot of those decks, definitely rock with it
played this deck the other day and I won against a zard in almost the same way! lol once lugia rotates out this will likely be my main deck. Thanks for the game play dude!
@@kaidongchong3371 hey so my list is quite a bit different from this one, but if you just want a single card swap I’d say look at taking out the vitality band!
@@hammer3515 there are just too many lines that Terapagos can take to win that Bolt can’t really deal with. Force a single prizer into 2-2-2, 2-4 with Briar, KO both Raging Bolt and Iono to 1, etc.
This deck rocks. I dropped Temple of Sinnoh and placed a Briar in the deck. So far I've played about 12 games online with this deck and 4 of those games I've taken 6 prizes in one turn thanks to Briar.
Generally speaking you want to prioritize using your Noctowl's to get the pieces you need. You 2 shot each other most often but you can attack first most of the time as well/flex between your turtles. Dusknoir line also helps a ton here to finish out the damage from an attack so make sure you're doing at least 100 damage when you hit a thorns to clean it up with Cursed Blast
I still can't believe that while everyone was wondering whether Dragapult would work better with Pidgeot or Xatu, this player proved that the answer was neither.
I think the answer is yes, you trade a bit of consistency for a pretty massive boost into your matchup spread. Generally worth it as an exchange in my opinion
Just got into PTCG live. How much am I trolling playing the free Gholdengo deck w/ ralts line? Have made quite a few upgrades to it. Been doing pretty decent hovering just below master atm. This version seems a bit harder to pilot
Hey, I'm new and I have a question. *(Context:* I'm just starting to get into Pokemon TCG. I registered my account yesterday for TCG Live and I've gone through the newbie Tutorials lol. I want to start trying out different decks, but after importing the deck list, I am faced with a message that says I cannot play these decks because I need to actually own the cards. I pretty much have close to NONE of the cards in the deck LOL). *So here's the actual question: What is the best way for me to start acquiring all of the necessary cards as quickly as possible? Am I just gonna have to start opening a bunch of packs, and if so, what kind of a time frame am I looking at before I can actually start to play?* Any advice is appreciated!
You should use the decks they give you to accomplish the tasks in the “rewards” section each day! You’ll amass lots of credits and gems, use the gems to get the premium battle pass and you’ll have a huge collection in no time!
Is.this a better chien pao/bolt? With chien pao it seems better in every way, no frail stage 2 you need, more bulk, and keeps the positives like r Greninja and ohkos. Ig bolt is faster but gholdengo has options like palkie and greninaj
Gholdengo was the weaker option vs Chien-Pao a couple sets ago. That was because Gholdengo really didn't like having to discard 7 energies (or 9 if Zard was running Hero's Cape) and had weaker match ups than Chien-Pao. But with the recent additions and draw power Gholdengo is in my opinion the better option than pure Chien Pao.
Generally speaking you use your Dusknoir + your 3 switch options (and boss which can let you retreat) as a way to just full clear their board. Jet Rotom deals with Mimi and otherwise combos of Dusk + Tera should do enough especially cuz you give them less cards with Iono after Dusknoir
You 100% do not need any ladder ranking to play a regional! They’re incredibly fun events and when I top 4d Orlando I think my ladder ranking was like Great Ball Tier. If you wanna play, play!
