I have a zippo from 2017 it started life as a non special chrome plated brass zippo woth a sinple american flag print on the front and after it being my eberyday carry from 2017 till today it looked really bad, the chrome was wonr through in spots the american flag logo was allost gone tons of gouges and scratches not huge gouges but deep enough to call them that from car keys hotting it in your pockets and being dropped. So i decided to strip all the chrome off using 80 grit sand paper and worked my way up to 12k grit. Its really shiny and mirror like but still has a good amount of deeper scratches in it i cnnot get lut using polishing sand laper pads you would use for scale mdoel car bodoes starting from 500 grit all the way to 20k grit and have been doing that over and kver again for hours and hours and they still wont go away. And o have 16 different grits i use in-between bkth those two o said i used any help thanks. O got the flip top perfect no scratches and its mirror shiny with no polish needed but cant get the sides to lookike that
Next what bro? Put in as**? Or put some where store wait 300 hundred years .and then become yokai.or what maybe spirit girl and sekai 😂.. Sorry2 just joking bro
"I polished the plaster, expected result" = "I polished the plaster, ASMR pleasant results" This aint glass in anyway, tittle is mere clickbait, 0 like for that.
Very lovely! I always enjoy your videos, the finished pieces are beautiful! I was worried for a moment, when the first piece broke, that it might be asbestos. I hope you're always careful and wear a mask so you don't breathe in any dust that might damage your lungs, I hope to continue watching your videos for a long time ❤
I didn’t do any of that grinding and scraping all I did was soak it in CLR in a bucket for a couple hours and holy shit. It took it all off pretty much if you leave the small ones in too long they get too thin and they started deteriorate.
A group punishment in basic training was to polish a fired scorched tank shell before morning the next day. As we only had the supplies available we used steel wool and scouring powder finished with Brasso. Mirror finish but then we had 30 people working on it in shifts. Our NCO was impressed.
