Wow!! Do you know how blessed and lucky you are to be able to visit the one place in my bucket list ? What a spiritual experience that must have been. My pastor is Armenian. He was there during the war like murdered his parents in front of him. He’s always wanted to go back and visit. He hasn’t been there since he was 14. He’s now 89..
Been here more than a decade ago with my ex-gf from Slovakia and the Low Tatras are absolutely beautiful. Now, after a decade and some years my mate and I are going to the High Tatras and on the Polish side.
With respect it is said as cook-mere not cuck-mere. Pity you didn't show more of Eastbourne instead of the lands around. Hampden Park and its lake is beautiful. Towner Art Gallery. Meads village. Hollywell Gardens. The Wish Tower, where the Eastbourne Air Show is staged from. so much more in the town. Eastbournian of 70 years.
What trailhead did you start at? I saw a car so - do you know what road that was? I won't have hours to hike up and then down but want to take in the views.
About to head their tomorrow for a week of hiking with four of my best friends from high school. We started a tradition of a week of hiking every year during covid in 2020 and are now celebrating the fifth anniversary with a trip abroad. We were all tasked to bring a hike proposal to the sauna during christmas to vote for which option to go for (we are all from Sweden and sauna is just... sauna). As we are all spread out around the world this week is a great way to stay connected from many months apart. This video made me want to go here, thanks for sharing!
Reminder that if you're having hard time finding info about a foreign place, look stuff up in their language, there might some extra or insider info/more info in that country's language.
great video man, really enjoyed it... I'll be going to the tatra mountain range too, this summer, and don't even know where to start hahah it's a massive area and i bet that most of it is incredible
Hello amazing video i have a couple of questions if u dont mind, can a beginner do the hike from valbone to teth? And how much time did it take to accomplish it all? And was the trail easy to follow? Thank you
Thanks 🙏🏼 I’d say yes you could, it’s not technically difficult and it’s very easy to follow. There are some parts you need t be careful as they are by steep cliffs. I’d say 6-8 hours is about average. However give yourself more time so you ca stop and enjoy all the views cause they are amazing 👌🏼
1. This video is everything. My family watches travel/hike videos all the time and you are among the best. Congrats sir. We have subscribed. 2. You have inspired us to literally follow in your footsteps. We are now going to Montenegro in July 2024. Do you have a trail map of the hike you just did. We want to take it. Thanks in advance.
Hi thanks so much! I’m glad! You’ll enjoy it. I use an app called Maps.me it’s really good as it shows the hiking trails. I’d recommend getting it and setting the destination to bobotov kuk, and then it’s easy to follow the trail up as far as you want to go 👌🏼
Go in Romania to Fagaras, or Ceahlau, or Bucegi, or Retezat, or Apuseni, or Maramures, or Vrancea, Harghita, or Danube Delta. There is no true wilderness in Europe, most of continent is anthropized. Romania is the only exception. Plus incredible ethnic and religious diversity
@@Tristandewet Bucegi is spectacular for its steppy landscapes but is small - only 300 sq. km - while being the most turisty mountain, as is the closest to Bucharest. The Romanian Carpathians holds the last undisturbed, primordial forests of Europe (except for the boreal forest of Scandinavia and Russia, which are not mountain forests). Here is a video made by me in Semenic National Park in 2016 (carpathianland is my other account) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j6uhoFp_B5I.html . Or you can watch some youtube videos about Buila Vanturarita. From top of such mountains, there is endless mountain forests as far as you can see.
@@Tristandewet Bucegi is the most turisty mountain and is small - 300 sq. km. You don't get a feeling of endless wilderness. Here is a video made by me in Jiu Defile in 2012: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4LQZxB-EErs.html
Amazing, thank you so much for this great video! Quick question if I may - how long roughly did it take you to get from the car park or your starting point to all the way to the lighthouse ? Asking because, I would like to plan how long one would need for the whole trip - many thanks again.
