This film clearly shows that stupidity has nothing to do with the decade or century you're living in. People were stupid then. They are stupid now. At least back then they were having excuses, the information was not so easy to find.
And the men at the park.... Now there head of the police, mp's and head of social service's.... Dangerous time to be a kid. The 70s and 80s...... Nothings changed 50 years on. Apart from technology and entertainment.
"It's sometimes known as the 'car-owner virus' ". Nice word-play. This whole thing was hysterical. Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember these types of public service videos. Some of those things could rival horror movies, but this is absolutely hilarious.
I knew coronaviruses existed before covid-19 came about. So I was curious what coronavirus was around in the 70s. I immediately recognised the cold war fallout safety video at the start.
