I just bought a jeep wrangler yesterday. When I stopped at a store I pulled the emergency brake. I got ready to leave and couldn’t get it to release for 10minutes. I got home and saw your video so I tried it. The sleeve was pulled up too far just like your video. Thanks for the info. You saved me a lot of trouble my friend!
Your video just saved me!!!😂🙏🏼 Such a ridiculous thing that happens!!🫠😅 I had called someone to come help after I couldn’t get it down. We were just about to start taking stuff apart when I thought, “Let me check RU-vid real quick..” We had a good laugh once we realized it was such a simple fix! 🤣 - 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave in Hawaii🌴
@@aspjake123 went under body and just made sure was high enough to clear rocks. Went up into the right rear brake light from underneath. Hope that helps
I can get the pin holder thing to come up but cannot get it to come completely out. Do I need to depress any clips on the sides of the connector? Also how did you run the yellow wire? On the underside or through the body? Thank you!!
@@JeepinwithJim Yes I did thank you! I used a micro hex wrench to pop it out, These tail lights are fantastic. Now deciding how to run the sequential blinker wire.
@@Kymmy016 if u have the bungie balls inside the jeep (essentially under the sunshade) it goes on without any problems. Then u just push back the edges a little to latch it. Does that help
thank you so much your 1 minute fix worked in 45 seconds i had places to be your video saved the day i had already crawled under my jeep expecting a real job excellent
I was outside and the break was as tight as it gets. If it wasn’t for you I would be paying for a towing truck. Mine is Rubicon 20 Supercharged manual T 😎.
@@JeepinwithJim it’s a JL Sahara 2020 , im my case a had to remove the the leather sleeve entirely to undo the the handbreak , but you nudged me to the right solution!
@@Hoadley-Family u won’t be disappointed. I have not had any problems. It’s rock solid. I do all my trail video, hold my phone and radio on it and my GoPro and iPad. 💯💯💯💯
I rented a Jeep Wrangler 4-door. I'm not sure about the year, but it looks pretty new, with around 15,000 miles on it. I'm writing from Saint Barthelemy, but this happened yesterday on my last day in Saint Marteen. I parked on a hill, applied the emergency brake, and assumed it would go off as usual. Unfortunately, it didn't. I searched on RU-vid, watched more than 10 videos, and finally stumbled upon yours, which actually worked. I must say, you're a lifesaver! Kudos to you@
Thank you sooo muchmuch! This happened to me and I was freaking out trying to figure out how I would get it fixed when I couldn’t move the car. You’re a lifesaver!
@JeepinwithJim 4xe. Not mine. My buddy's wife who hates me. I was like: this is what I get for accepting a "favor" to drive someone else's car. I almost always turn that down. Happy to happen upon your vid. You saved me the extra embarrassment, attitude, and hassle and likely a ridiculous bill for this one minute fix.
Have you ACTUALLY tested how stabile and sturdy the tablet holder is OFF ROAD? I love what I see but I need confidence in knowing that it will hold tight on the rough off road use. The weight of those iPads might be the weakest link. I would appreciate your comment!
Had it offroad like this every time I’ve been out (at least 10x this year) . Not once did it ever fall. Done medium/hard rides and no problems. instagram.com/reel/C3BpzgHNf_C/?igsh=YmsweDF1cjM1czh4
For a bit of a 5 rated trail, you should check out Clifton Rd. There’s lots of clear water water crossings. Really nice! I made a trail guide video on it. It’s a good balance of technicality but stock capable fun. I intended on hitting Fincastle too that day but it rained and we were solo.
@@JeepinwithJim 😂 Omg!!! Yes I was!!! lol I thought I’d have to get it towed to the dealer lol I was like oh crap. Hopefully someone on RU-vid has uploaded a fix lol
