This may be just what I've been looking for... I have a tripod that will raise my camera 94 in. up, and it is very hard to adjust the camera positioning from that height... I can adjust the camera settings from my phone and view the composition from my phone, but actually aiming the camera is impossible, or very hard at least. This would seem to make that easy... Especially if it can be slowed down even more than you showed. Oh, I forgot to mention why I use a tripod that tall... It is to get over the heads of people in large crowds, or even small crowds for that matter.
Thank you so much for the demo! It's exactly what I was looking for! It makes me wonder, could I fix the jittery motion by picking it apart safely to put some grease on the gears? Or is it the motor itself that can't move smoothly...
This device up in an ad I saw. I was curious. Glad you spent your money :-) Thanks... I will pass on this toy... Hmmmmm... DJI Neo? iPhone 16 Pro... Decisions... That panning up jerk was horrific.
Nice vid. Thanks. If you (I) had to choose between the ULANZI MT-73 (21,2 inch max) and the ULANZI MT-08 (10,8 inch max), which one would you go for? I am hesitant that the 73 version is perhaps too long for the reasons of buying it, seeing as the pocket 3 already is quite tall in itself?
If face detect is on in the main settings, use the face detect feature in the tracking menu on the left of the screen and select your face. This will only track you.
To start on the left and not center in auto track would save me a lot of time ajdusting it.... every.... time ... I turn it on. Hopefully an update soon :)
I have a question. When i want to track myself via the mimo app, if im on the left or right of the frame, the gimbal moves and puts me in the centre of the frame. Is there a way in the mimo app to stop this from happening? I don't seem to see the dynamic framing option in the mimo app. Thanks!
Thanks!! When I bought the flooring, the guy said these vinyl planks had a built-in moister/vapor barrier. Its so dry here in the desert that I guess I wasnt too worried about it.
Many thanks for the tips. I’ve been trying to set up tracking of me on my bicycle, somewhat unsuccessfully. Using the MIMO app when I draw a square around the bike the tracking consistently locks onto my head, and then loses me at any distance more than about 10 metres. Like you, I’m hoping for a firmware upgrade to improve this. All of that said, the Pocket 3 is still my favourite go-anywhere camera. It’s brilliant!
This is not illegal because I already checked with my building inspector to turn my garage into a room/study for my daughter. He said inside I can do whatever I want to finish it. Just need to have an electrical inspection prior to drywalling.
The problem with the tracking is you have to isolate the subject and select it then it gets confused when other people start getting in the way. Sometimes it works really well but it usually gets confused pretty fast. Its fun to try out though.
with the Mobile6 if I have tracking on and lets say I go behind a wall and then back in picks me right back up and its works... With the Pocket3 if I do the same test it does not pick me back up is it a option
Bro you did your thang. Amazing job and video. Editing on point. Liked and subscribed. My son wants to convert our two car garage to a kitchenette for himself and i had to show him your video. With the exception of plumbing and electrical we can do this project. But i have a question what you did with that metal part that the garage door slide up and down on?
Hey! Nice video, I really need your help aswell. So I won the Hasselblad 25v (25mm on medium format and 20 on fullframe) somehow, and I want to try it for landscape, I want to buy the moment 6-9 stops nd filter. But is it possible with this lens? Maybe you know, and should I buy the (normal 72mm thread for the lens) or with a step up ring 82mm? 😅 Thanks man!
Moment probably has an ND filter that will work fine for a 25mm lens. I just havent had any luck going wider than a 24mm. I get the black lines in the corners and sides. A stepup ring and larger ND filter should also work with your lens.
I was just looking to get a gimble like this just so I can adjust the elevation angle on a camera in a 25 ft elevated position. (It appears this gimble could do this with no issues.) Do you think the remote control would work from 20 ft away?
