It's very strange to me how some people listen to your covers and seem to expect an exact replica of the original song. I get that to a point, but the important markers for a good cover are: Is it on time, in key, and does it sound good. Beyond that, it would be: Is there new and different instrumentation that sounds great, or did this person's voice or style sound even sound better than the original. Of course, the last two are subjective. When I first stumbled across your channel, I missed the whole point of it and suggested adding some effects to your singing in an effort to help you out. Unfortunately, the channel description doesn't show up front and center, so it took me awhile to get it. One thing you might include in the description if you haven't already is "Performed all in one take." I imagine a lot of people won't even know what that means, but for those who do, that's impressive.
Thank you for posting this. You have a great voice, kind of soaring and cutting through the BS if that makes sense. I had a hard day and this brought me joy. Thanks again
chrissy marie, i am no expert on music, and this is just my impression of your song, meant to be constructive. your voice reminds me of a young baseball pitcher with a 95 MPH fast ball ( that is a ticket to the pros ). you have a beautiful voice and very powerful, i think. but it seems to me that you don't quite have control of it, but some coaching might get you from youtube to the TV tube.
