Little K has always held himself like a mini silverback. You can see how he struts around all the confidence he has. He is shaped like dad. It’s very compact. He almost reminds me of a mountain gorilla. Love his confidence
I didn't know about the early days of Nhi Linh and that she didn't nurse from Trong Nhi at first. Nhi Linh will turn 11 tomorrow and I will visit her to wish her a happy birthday. Both Nhi Linh and Trong Nhi have been mating with Spike. Maybe there will be a baby elephant at the DC zoo in a few years. Fingers crossed. 🐘
Gyasi was such a naughty girl. Tayari and Jabali are the same. Naughty, but loving as well. Tayari looks so much like her and so does Jabali. Kiango looks the picture of daddy BaoBao. Nemsi is a very surrugate mother to Kiango and he loves her. We miss Gyasi so much.
Kiango definitely looks like his daddy and as he's got older the similarities have only become more pronounced. He's going to be a big silverback one day just like BaoBao. BaoBao just looks frail because of his cardiac issues, if he didn't have those I think he'd be pretty massive. Kiango while looking like his dad, I think has Gyasi's spirit and fun nature. While she was taken way too soon. I'd like to think that she rests a little easier knowing that Nemsi loves and cares so much for her precious boy and that she'll always keep him safe.
I guess my girl Iriki has always liked to be alone and observe everyone from her own space she's a sweetheart and Ringo has a lot of his mom's traits but I can see Jubali definitely has Tayari s traits she is a spit fire too😂
Such a shame, however her spirit lives on in her offspring, Tayari moves and acts exactly like Gyasi did, and she inherited her playful genes too, I’m sorry for little Kiango’s loss however she raised him well in the time she had as he’s a beautiful baby boy

Very sweet babies! I think I could have done without the protracted exposure to mama eating her nasal excrescences, though. One or two licks would have been enough! 😒
