Plus the people that owned it before you messed up all kinds of stuff before you got it. And now you are 25k into it and you're like fuck it I'm half done now anyways. But you're really not. Lol
Yes sir that can happen. Many people enjoy being able to walk in, move in and enjoy their new home. How about you - have you ever purchased a new home? Your thoughts?
@@livinginsanantonio-artmeister I'm not at that bracket yet. I'm in school rn for business management. And I don't trust builders. So I don't think I would just buy a new home. I would build one. Probably. When I get done with this one probably next year some time
@@Johnepumper Sounds exciting! This is a great area of San Antonio and the city is certainly trying to build the infrastructure to support the growth. It's a long process as you know, when you decide to build a home - maybe even longer if you do it yourself. I admire those who have the skill to do it. There may come a time we could work together and that would be an honor. I would look forward to the opportunity. Any questions I can answer for you?
The Riverwalk was funded and built by the Works Progress Administration. This was a social program during the Great Depression that was used to put people to work for fair wages since private industry wasn't in a position to employ people.
Very interesting fact and I appreciate you sharing it with us on the channel. Thank you @sapriste. Glad you're here. What ideas do you have on other topics you'd like to see?
I know and understand how frustrating the current market can be. Agents who make real estate a career, understand how to help people buy homes. We weren't born with a "silver spoon in our mouths." Hard work and saving money allowed us to buy our first home. We didn't have "first time homebuyer programs" like you have available today. Are you familiar with those? I can tell you first hand, not ALL agents are familiar with them so they can't help. Buying a home is a process and you and your agent must understand that. All things are possible - and everyone gives something up because there are NO perfect homes. Understanding home ownership is process means that you must follow it. I look forward to your reply.
@@repurposedrestoration1498 let me get that on the schedule. Do you have a target move in date? What is it about New Braunfels that makes it a place you would like to live?
Hello @zenonrios. Thank you for the comment and I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful city. Is your home in Iowa currently on the market? In what city?
kind of reminds me of an employer sending out a 'real income' statement each year, to see the cost of all the benefits (health care, life insurance, short term disability, ltd, etc). Hmm, why does it say '10 thinks to know before moving to ...' and its not covered.
@darwinjina I'm sorry! I usually link them up at the end of the video. Here is the link to 10 Things To Know Before Moving to San Antonio. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o0Oe3OM2bUI.htmlsi=mYDJU0D0j0FgsXHt Always appreciate your feedback, thank you.
@@livinginsanantonio-artmeister I hope for the best I live in the Midwest and we have the same thing where many people from Chicago are moving into our area for the most part it’s been pretty much the same however there are parts that I would not visit now and definitely would in the past
@@donbot3365 understand. Haven't spent much time in Chicago - actually graduated from Southern Illinois Carbondale. Would love to welcome you to San Antonio.
Texas also doesn't force its utility companies to invest their profits back into their infrastructure which is why their infrastructure fails every time it gets lower than 30°
@infamoustimes2927 what state do you live in? The mission of the channel is to discuss Living in San Antonio. I’m a fun guy and enjoy a good debate. I’m also grateful you’re here. Thank you. Right now we are looking at different areas that are not more than 45 minutes away from the University of incarnate word. That’s where I will be attending graduate school. If you were considering a move to San Antonio, exactly what are you looking for and what would be your housing budget? Schools? Recreation?
True, that's sad this time of year when both Texas teams are trying to get to the World Series. We do have the Spurs and our problem continues to be lack of support. What city are you living in? Does your city have major league sports?
Actually this home was built in 1999. The wood floors are beautiful and the granite in the kitchen - well, I don't know about the first or second home you purchased, however I do about about my clients! We's say it's gorgeous and 3000 sf? and 2 bedrooms downstairs? Wow. Tell me about your first 2 homes. Look forward to hearing from you!
Which areas are safe affordable family friendly to live?? Does it get very cold there?? Do you have crocodiles problems, love bugs?? What are the properties taxes on a average?? Does it hail in all texas?? Flood?? Is more humid or dry?
Hello Emilia and thank you for your questions! The Northside and Northwest parts of San Antonio are very popular with the Northwest experiencing the greatest growth. Average home price around $325k. Many from out of state feel our property taxes are high - you have to understand that there is no state income tax. In California your state income tax is 9.5% - far more than our property tax of approximately 2.5% of the county appraised value. Our cost of living is also substantially less. No crocodiles but do have bugs. Most of us pay for exterminators to keep them out of the house! We do have some hail at different times and I’ve seen one flood in my 25 years here. We do have humidity that the ladies say “adds moisture to the air and our skin and keeps our skin healthy!” There are a couple of videos and shorts where I address the taxes and cost of living in San Antonio. Let’s schedule a zoom call and I’ll be happy to talk to you about each of these in more detail.
This property is located in Stone Oak, a beautiful area in San Antonio. Please feel free to text me personally at 210-286-9106. What other questions can I answer for you?
Texans lose their minds when gas hits $3.00 per gallon. Did you know that Californians pay $1.40 out of every gallon of gas in taxes? Here's a link. www.cdtfa.ca.gov/taxes-and-fees/sales-tax-rates-for-fuels.htm

Great video. Just a heads up that the amenities you showed (park, pool, tennis courts) are part of Encino Park. The Villages of Encino Park and Encino Park are two separate subdivisions and do not share amenities.
@@repurposedrestoration1498 There will be a new video posted this evening about Cibolo Canyon. Beautiful neighborhoods and gated communities in San Antonio. Is there a particular price point you are interested in seeing?
@@zacharytaylor6677 Yes there are street "lights" - they are the dorative street lamps designed to provide "some" light and not make it look like daylight in the evenings. It's a single decorative pole with a light at the top approximately 12 feet high. What else can I help you with?
Hello CDL and thanks for the question! Our rents have risen with the housing prices. Average rents are now $1800/month. Good news is you can still buy a home for that price. Where are moving from?
