Everybody here is saying you shouldn't leave it on the floor in one place. That's only half of the problem. The other half of the problem is that you're not supposed to use steam mops on these types of flooring. The steam app will work the entire floor like this over time. Damp mops only people. If you're reading this and you're using a steam mop on your plank flooring stop now. You're going to regret it. There's no way to fix it and you're going to have to replace the entire floor. Also wipe up spills immediately. Get a spin mop. Damp mopping only!

No YOU ruined your floor with the steam mop. Smh. You can't use steam mops on plank flooring. Only damp mops like a spin mop.

Oh no! I use the shark steam mop but have been noticing it's not clean! When I go back over my floors they are dirty. Sorry about your floor. I just watched a video of a girl using o cedar mop with a tide pod and a splash of Mr clean. Tide is also great for carpets!

What a mess! Even after. Look at the food on top YUCK!! You can tell how little you clean those litter boxes. Not sure how many cats you have. Maybe you should fix them??? I can't believe you post a video that shows such a unsanitary environment. Even with the enclosed boxes CLEAN THEM OUT !!

commercial farming is expensive... please factor in hired labour costs as well a fertilizer, fuel and equipment, etc etc. I just grew 180 bulbs of Russian Red Garlic 6 inch spacing... they were huge bulbs the size of lacrosse balls, and very powerful. Cheers from Vancouver. I find Elephant garlic very mild.

Love your passion and channel! I planted 50 elephant garlic plants this past fall and looking to scale it up. How do you find a garlic broker to help sell the garlic?

I am growing it and need some advice. Can I reach out to you for some help? I have 50 plants growing and so far they are 1 feet tall after planting back in last October. I want to know how to find a garlic broker to help me sell the garlic on harvest and how to scale up by more corms planted. Also looking into USDA loan program.

Who buys elephant garlic? I don’t know anyone who will specifically want elephant hair. I think that there’s more money in large onion bulbs.

How did it go? I started about the same time as you and planted 24 cloves 4 years ago. I only did one cycle. I just planted 500 Cloves today. Still have another 100 or so to plants.

Most elephant garlic only has 4 to 6 cloves. I've never seen one with 8. So I think your math is sketchy to start with. However, I agree that there is money to be made.
@blackpearlmetal6319
@blackpearlmetal6319 10 месяцев назад
how do you get 8 cloves out od each bulb? They come with 6 max! Numbers are off right from the start. BTW, how much money have you made selling these since this video?
@jman3254
@jman3254 10 месяцев назад
Like most get rich/how to videos, they leave out the most important part---- to whom do you sell all of these bulbs. Us real people out here cannot start an endeavor like this without knowing who the potential customers are, or where to find them--- if they exist at all.

I think you are crazy optimistic, assuming zero losses to mold, rot, clove failure etc. my experience with garlic growing suggests you should allow for between 30-50% failure until you really understand you local microclimate, soils and biota.

I find that in zone 5b/6 its pretty easy to grow garlic, at least where i live...Just throw them in late fall, or early spring, and voila. As long as you get some good cold nights below freezing. I've done regular garlic several years but I'm planning to try elephant garlic my first time, since i found some for sale at a road side stand. We'll see how that does here.

A lot of things sound good on paper, but how well does it pan out? Is that amount of work able to be done by one person? Is that person willing to put up with what has to be put up with raising and caring for the crop? How much loss will be had? Can you "actually" sell that much of the crop before it rots? What about returns? What if you get a complete crop failure or overrun with pests and disease? There is a lot of factors and at the end of the day, I say 1/4 that total estimated profit and you have a much more obtainable goal. That's about $40,000 for a year, which is still not shabby.

The comments on this video criticizing her are ridiculous. She literally admits she made a mistake in the title and you still can't stop yourselves from immediately calling her an idiot for leaving the mop in one place too long. I guess these douchebags don't know what it's like to make a mistake due to how f***ing perfect they are... 😂

Cut everything you say in half and you will be on track. Honestly, you are way overestimating. You will not get what you are suggesting. It is still a great crop. I have been growing garlic for a long time and it is not as fast as you suggest. It is still a good plan, Cheers from just an old gardener.
