THIS WAS SO FIRE! I admit I don't know the CATaclysm lore, so I'm not sure I can create a story for this one, but I'll see if I can. A theory I have is that for this fight, Varelt's victims have turned into "demons" based off of what Varelt said, demons in which Varelt has control over due to being the one who killed them. Limu attempts to revive them like she typically does, but then it's revealed that Varelt only meant to distract her with these "demons". Though as evident as the fact that Limu is not the playable character for the whole cover, the "demons" were resisting their revival somehow. Limu, tuckered out from trying and failing to save Miku, Mami, Var and Izars, is now left in a tired state, giving Varelt the upper hand in their final meeting. Unable to beat Varelt in combat, Limu tries to beat Varelt by calming her down like she had before, and then the screen goes black, whether Varelt missed and calmed down or actually attacked Limu is up to interpretation I guess. Limu will come back though, she always does, Varelt just wanted to play with her mind a bit. This is just a theory/speculation/headcanon story. The video was very well done, I loved the transitions and the character choices.
