So I had an issue where a shop used an imperial socket to remove my metric lug nut.... totally pooching the edges of the nut. Took it to a different shop to get this F up fixed. This entailed drilling off the head of the nut until the wheel could come off, then remove the stud from my hub. In the process, a LOT of oil was used and it stained my polished Audi RS6 Fat Five rim. I've tried a lot of cleaners and degreasers and nothing seems to work. I'm looking to try oven cleaner as a last resort. Any other suggestions to bring the shine back to this polished rim?
Stealth is already pretty smooth compared to gloss PPF so yes it’s easier to clean already. You can opt into coating it as well if you have extra budget for it .
Pretty nasty, neglected wheel barrels. Unfortunately, mine are even worse. Original/previous owners ignored mine for probably 14yrs. That iron/brake dust can permanently damage the wheel finishes when it's allowed to remain on wheel surfaces.
Great video I have same truck2023 year,I’m in Virginia I think law says 50% front and what ever on rear what you recommend and where I get from mat try myself what is the soap solution to use,,theanks
Question, I have a 2007 toyota tacoma I just bought. The part around the radio has small black dots on it. Could you tell me something I could use to get it off.
Hey ! Doing Felt you can use a tape, or you can wet it and wipe as much as dirt as you can, for the front windows you can remove the sweeps for easier access .
@@SETProtectiveFilms tells me everything i need to know, cant even leave the English language alone, have to change the spelling to make it more easier for you.
@@stevenlittle2947 actually: “The word tire is a short form of attire, from the idea that a wheel with a tire is a dressed wheel. The spelling tyre did not appear until the 1840s when the English began shrink-fitting railway car wheels with malleable iron. Nevertheless, traditional publishers continued using tire. The Times newspaper in London was still using tire as late as 1905.”
Dammn I love watching videos in RU-vid I love doing the same thing I been doing this since I was 12 years old since right now I'm going to my 38 years old on July well sending lots of blessings from down south pharr Texas
I do have to say its nice to see someone do this to wheels that are extremely dirty and not some wheels that get washed every week. I do agree with another comment that a hosing or pressure washing could have been done before the iron remover I don't think its a big deal.

@@fx4guy i only installed the film to the two front windows. passenger and driver side. if you add another 20% on the rear it will be close to 5% which will be really dark
@@fx4guy you can do 15 % at the front or 20% not a lot of difference between those two. For the back if you need an added protection for uv rays. You can put another 50% so it doesn’t get too dark
