Jails do this to people all the time. Its just never reported. Those staff in those jails know exacrly what there doing. If the inmates know it so do the staff.
Violence sucks. Native people living under so much suppression regulations restrictions caused by the bad white outsiders seeking to manipulate stipulate plunder the native peoples state of heritage while denying them equal rights of developmental resources and self-sustaining goals and claims. Imagine the native people's tribes living without restrictions or regulations so they too can become wealthy and rich to give themselves a high self-esteem and pride to live and not commit suicide, just because they are all restricted to become the slaves. They'll most likely to survive and live longer if the natives can have equal rights and equal positions where the ancestors had always been before the enclosure movement happened and effected all the brainwashed natives
People watch "Alone" on History Channel. Dick was the OG, 50+ year reigning champion. He survived for 30 years there, and i doubt anyone could possibly hold a light to his achievements!
The family did her so dirty. I hope it drags them down each and every day too. You NEVER give up on your sons and daughters. I’ve known people who had to go to rehab multiple times before it clicked and now they are healthy again. If you don’t want to pay for it anymore? Don’t and just let them figure it out for themselves that they need to get clean. Even if she survived the withdrawal, she would’ve relapsed the second she got out because she wasn’t ready to get clean, she was forced to and it ended up killing her. As someone who was an addict since 14 (21 now) this one really hits home. I started Suboxone and my recovery date 3/7/2. I know I’m not clean but I believe it saved my life. It probably could’ve saved hers too. RIP 🙏
The winters must have been long and brutal. He had a lot of time to work on projects and to write. I will always remember him saying that visitors loved the beauty of the area but within 2 weeks wanted to make it like where they came from. Dick was special he learned that less is more and found true happiness. Most people go to the grave unfulfilled.
Dick is my new hero. I've watched so many videos about him, of him, from him, I just love it. Wishing for simpler times and the balls to actually do this.
What a pos coward pig wanted that man to come downstairs so he could rough him up and arrest him too. Pugs are disgustong people qith absolutely no heart.
Thanks to this video, Philip Fuentes not only lost his job in law enforcement but he no longer has a family for discrimination against people with disabilities, violent treatment of people with disabilities, violation of civil rights, violation of human rights, violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, violation of city laws, violation of state laws, violation of federal laws, and violation of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Do a search on Google Earth "Dick Proenneke's Cabin on Twin Lakes, Sterling, AK" and you'll be taken right to his cabin.. Hard to see because It's snow bound.. haha but it's interesting to see where it is..

If you ask administrators in a municipal jail, they will tell you: “we are NOT a detox center!” Stop criminalizing addiction and treat it like the medical condition it is
I heard horror stories how bad medical is in jail and prison. I heard of diabetics not getting insulin and cancer patients not getting anything. Just insane. Some people fear the lack of medical more then innmate violence. Thats how bad it is.
Hell Yeah when my husband was 10 year's old he needed a new heart. Cause his heart was failing and doctor's don't know what caused it. And he was at school when they found a heart for him. And he had to quickly get to the hospital. They performed the surgery and he had to stay in the intensive care unit. He was happy waking up. Had to do test's like running exercise. And he was able to go home after a week. And everybody was happy seeing him go back to school. He's 39 year's old and is doing excellent. Never had no issue's with his heart. The person who donated there heart was a 5 year old girl who was killed by a drunk driver. Jesse reached out to the mother who was very happy hearing he received her daughter's heart. And she wished so could met him. And Jesse and his Aunt drove up there and met the mother. And she explained what happened and Jesse and his Aunt was shocked. The suspect was sentenced to life without parole but took his life. Jesse said it has been hell for him due to losing his Grandparents by a drunk driver. And then a week after that both his dad and his godfather was killed by a drunk driver. And then Jesse dealing with his heart issue's. The lady was like shocked and was happy that Jesse's is doing good. And begged him to stay in school don't quit. And he graduated and she was standing next to his Aunt while he walked to receive his diploma. The lady was about to get married but the accident happened. And she never did but she did a year later. And Jesse surprised her by being the flower boy (Cause her daughter was supposed to be the flower girl) She was happy watching Jesse walk down the isle throwing flowers. She ran up to Jesse and was crying and she grabbed him and hugged him. And Jesse hugged her back. And people was like ??? And she grab the mic and stated that Jesse received Nicole's heart. And she said other thing's. When Jesse was older to get a tattoo. He got the tattoo of Nicole tattooed on his chest above the heart. And it say's the date she was born and the date she died. Jesse tells everybody that's his 2nd birthday. Cause he was born again with her heart. The mother had another baby and she named it Jesse and Jesse's the godfather. And the girl is old enough to understand she had a older sister and she passed away and Jesse has her heart.
