Hands down the best cam installation video on RU-vid. I’ve watched them and this is such a great step by step. I can’t wait to purchase and install one on my Lowrider st. Thank you. Now I need to go sell a kidney to afford one
I can do these in my sleep. don't understand why Harley doesn't put in a good cam bearing from the factory, they have to no they are junk by now, I take them pumps and plates and throw them in the trash if run out is ok and install the blue parts, they are superior forged parts great video love watching these because i have been hurt for a month with back problems.
I don't think it's an st. As the tank has a badge on it. The badge looks like the badge from the standards, which are 107cu in. The st has the harley logo painted on. I also believe it to be a 107 standard due to the style of the badge on the tank. The 114 models and specials usually have the smaller metal logo. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the case
Most motorcycle and car manufacturers advertise crank HP and not wheel HP. Deceptive practice in my opinion, but it is what it is. What's funny is when guys want to argue their stock 117 ST outperforms a 107 with intake, exhaust and cam. Then they get pulled off the line and get confused. My 107 Street Bob gives 106 HP and 119 torque to the wheel. I'm not even running a performance tune. Ive hit 110 and 120 before, but I like decel pop, lol. Stock Harleys are limited. Exhaust, intake and cam really wake them up with a proper tune. When they make a new video after doing the stage 2, there's gonna be a significant difference. Edit* they already did it. 114 HP and 123 tq with just a bolt on cam using stock springs. Not even a hardcore cam or a performance exhaust
I run nothing but Woods cams. I actually had to call him over an issue. Great man. Very helpful and the knowledge he holds is incredible. He taught me what happens when you run sh4t exhaust.
Great video with a great guy. I'm trying to make up my mind between the WOOD 222 and the Zippers 528 cams for my 103. Love your channel and subscribed all the way over here in New Zealand
I've run Woods cams in the past and even though I didn't like them because of the aggressive ramp noise, you have to give mad props to him. He helped revolutionize the industry and is very intelligent!
You guys did my 128 build and used a woods 77x cam and night prowler springs and the bike runs amazing.. everyone loves how the cam sounds.. great video
