Stanz & Lud, most games give less MMR to the lower ranked player in queue together. The purpose is to hurt smurfing, and mainly carrying. It pushes “the smurfer” faster so they aren’t close. the greater the gap in rank between you, the faster most games will attempt to separate you to prevent carrying. Even if that’s not what is happening. I played RL as a champ 2 with diamond 1 teammate; and got more MMR by almost double; even if he had 900 pts and I had 100, with him genuinely playin better, because we were really close to the same rank when together. All because by default I was higher rank, I got more. Esp if the higher account is less active than the lower ranked account.
