The videos in this channel take in the concentrated essentials of what to do and see, in images and text. Reading the video description is a good idea. This channel is ideal for the independent travelers who want to use it as a 'fast guide' to a location they already may be interested in going to, or browsing for ideas for their next travel project. My playlists could easily be used as travel itineraries, and often include details and locations not many travelers have seen!
I'm Jean and I live in Sweden. I have a passion for traveling, to inspire people to see the world, experience different cultures, history and ways of life. I like connecting with the fragile nature we all depend on, so I climate compensate all my travels. I aim to upload a new video each week.

I know Guatemala City quite well, and I enjoyed this video. You have highlighted some great things to enjoy there. No criticism at all here - you never posted "all you need to know about...", but for anyone who likes this this video, there are even more cool things to see and do.
Hi and thanks for the feedback! I try to give more info and background in the video description, but will see how I might use your idea. With only one full day in Guate this is what I managed to see. 2 or 3 days would be ideal to also visit the Kaminaljuyú ruins, Museo Popol Vuh and Museo Ixchel. Cheers man! 👍🏻
@@JeanDar Te esperamos cuando quieras regresar, hace como un mes, les ayudé a unos chicos creadores de contenido, a dar un pequeño tour por la capital, en forma gratuita. Saludos.

Hello! You should be excited as you have an interesting trip ahead. You might also take in Granada (with Alhambra), Jaén and Úbeda on your way to Baeza? Torreperogil is very close to Baeza, to the east, maybe get to see it too on your way to Cazorla and La Iruela? Cheers, have a good one! 😎
Hello! Both the Singing Dunes and the Aktau Mountains have a parking lot next to them. From there you may wander off as you please really, no one will tell you where to go etc as these are quite desolate places. The Aktau Mountains have signs telling you not no walk on the slopes up to the top, as they consist of hard packed clay and might crumble under feet. However, that's exactly what I did and all worked out fine, watch the first part off the Aktau Mountains (at 5:08 - 5:47). You will see paths formed by other visitors, just follow them if you want.
@@PgMantisYou're welcome. I was blown away by the Aral Sea and stunning Boszhira Valley in Kazakhstan (watch my videos from there)! So if you can, try to include them in your trip too. One could fly to Qyzylorda from Almaty for the Aral Sea, and to Aktau by the Caspian Sea for Boszhira. I took the overnight train in both cases, but that will cost you 2 full days and is quite booring. Cheers!

Thanks! Playas del Coco is a rather calm and laidback place with the beach being the focal point in the day, and the restaurants in the evening. The diving is really good too! Take care, cheers! 👍🏻

Hello! The sand dunes are just next to the parking lot and most people go directly to the top from there in some 15-20 minutes. In this video however, we turned it into a hike, starting from the opposite side in order to have the dunes for ourselves and without any tracks from other people. There are also gazelles in the area, so could be wortwhile to do some desert hiking! The Aktau Mountains on the other hand, could be more demanding, depending on your form, and one may well spend some 3 hours walking as we did in the video. In September, when this video was shot, its warm but not hot. In the winter it will be freezing cold. A small backpack with water, perhaps a wind/rain layer and camera will do the trick on both places. Some snack is optional. Its practical and quite easy to combine these two and/or other locations in the Almaty region. I had some 5 days with a guide called Max and 4x4 taking in videos 2-6 in my Kazakhstan playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLjply4VDAlSJxvMO4oEU6Qh-mEOIeC0al&si=XVLiYhmpdSirPh3S. Its very safe in Kazakhstan and generally calm as well. Check out Max's tours in the region. tiptoptrek.com/en . Cheers! 👍🏻
Hey, I'd say April or September. Not too hot and not cold, if you're going to Altyn Emel. But some places are starting to get cold by then, mountainous areas and such. Almaty turned from 37° C to 17° C in two days while my stay in September, so depending where you are planning to go, temp could be radically different.
Nice video of a beautiful place like Bocas del Toro 😍, we have been there and we had a great time in this fantastic place and did our video too. Thanks for sharing. 🤩
Tja och tack Alber! Kazakstan är ganska okänt för de flesta som resmål, men det kan komma att ändras framöver. Jag kommer göra nio videos till från Kazakstan, so stay tuned and join the ride! 😎
I actually went looking for houses in Cazorla and La Iruela after my trip. I could also recommend Zahara de la Sierra and Carmona, small Andalusian towns with a million tales to tell and not many tourists. ✨✨✨
Thanks for the comment! The big tourist draw in Cairo being the Giza pyramids, but there are much more too see in Cairo. I would have stayed for a few days more if I could. 👍🏻
Dear Jean, what a video this is!!! How on earth did you dare to ride these cables? Anyeway, thanks a lot and take care tyour future rides, where ever they may take place!
This locations looks amazing, and worth the effort to travel to The questions I have are Is place safe for tourist? Especially someone in there late 60’s What is the best time of year to go there? What would be the best way to get to this location? What are tourist accommodation like? And as a non Spanish speaking person (yes I’m useless and only speak English) would the language barrier be to much? That’s it any info is greatly appreciated
Hello! Cazorla & La Iruela are two towns situated next to each other in the province of Jaén, Andalusia. Going there you will feel the centuries pass by and be amazed! Its a small place but packs a big punch when it comes to sceneries, landscapes, history etc. Hiking is possible in the mountains, where waterfalls are found in the spring but tend to dry up in the hot summers, hitting 40°C and beyond. Keep in mind that most of these two towns are built on more or less steep terrain. Its a very safe and calm place for tourists, and if you're 60+ and got a few days to spare, this could be a perfect vacation spot for you. Cazorla & La Iruela are most conveniently visited by car, and there is a tourist kiosk next to Hotel Restaurante Limas, where I stayed.I believe you should be able to manage well with English, as there should be at least someone speaking it at hotels etc. Hotel Restaurante Limas was simple, clean, with friendly staff. Other hotels/accomodations would be further uphill and closer to lthe ruins of La Iglesia de Santa María. Check Booking.com for other options. If coming by car, read info about parking/garage etc when making hotel reservations. During late June, July and August its hot hitting 40°C and beyond, and in May and September warm but not those temperatures. Google for accurate temps and amount of rain. If you have seen my Spain playlist here: ru-vid.com/group/PLjply4VDAlSI7gCyRHuBc0KAzFPMLnVod You might see that 25 of these videos are actually filmed in 30 days, and you can easily use them as an itinerary. Start by flying to Malaga, rent a car there and take in all the places in this playlist between Malaga and Cazorla, and more if you like.. However, you will probably like to spend more time in each place than I did. Two or three days would be more normal I guess. Preferably you might stay in Spain and Andalusia for a few weeks, rent a car or find buses going to the places you fancy.
Google planeet 9 roest
