I woke up this morning with this version of this song going through my head and had to find it online to listen to. It's so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you, SNC, for the best arrangement of this song _ever._ And thank you, Barbara, for posting it!
They remixed their OWN song. I highly doubt it had ANYTHING to do with politics. They change their lyrics around all the time at concerts. I don't understand why anyone would think it has anything to do with politics. Then again I refuse to be an enslaved sheep to the propaganda of main steam media.
You are correct. They try to keep it entertaining because they don't want it to be the same thing every single time, so they do something new for the people who bought tickets.
I've been lucky enough to be able to attend 2 live concerts. LOVE the unamplified number they always perform as the final number. It was amazing to have a totally silent audience in a gigantic auditorium in Portland, OR...everyone listening to the beautiful harmonies of this fantastic a cappella group...then exploding into wild cheering and clapping for a final standing ovation. Wonderful!
Absolutely THE BEST version of CREEP!! So much heartfelt emotion...takes my breath away and gives me chills. Wonderful arrangement that demonstrates the meaning of harmony. Beautiful Performance!!
It was written by Geoff Mack, and first recorded by Lucky Starr, both Australian . And the original lyrics were Australian cities. First U.S. version - with U.S. cities - was Hank Snow. There are several regional versions; Rolf Harris, for instance, does it with UK locations.
This has to be one of the funniest numbers I have ever seen you do. Three months later I am still chuckling. Well done Charlie Mike and Tyler!! Thank you Barbara for posting it!!
