Its a great design and very fast but be careful you cant use carpet or bamboo as fuel because the item doesnt smelt fully and the minecart hopper doesnt reach in team to refill the furnaces in time
@@fakroun_586 The fuel delivery system is not very robust, I must admit 😬I was focused on making something simple, where you drop an inventory of fuel into a chute and wait a couple minutes before loading in raw materials. This is ideal for planks and larger fuel sources. However, if you take the time to run your bamboo farm and fully saturate the hoppers and furnaces with fuel, you would be able to smelt 192 stacks of items before needing to refuel. Take care not to overflow the hoppers while doing so, or the minecarts will not be able to leave their initial station.
Thanks for pointing that out! When the minecarts drop off a piece of bamboo, it will burn before they can drop off another. You would need to load the system with bamboo before smelting, or use a longer-burning source of fuel.
Before building a machine like this, one must always ask himself the following question: Who the fuck needs so much and do you need it all at the same time?
Unfortunately, no :/ There would have to be some considerable tweaking done to the timings for the main clock. Additionally, the fuel distribution system relies on a falling-edge monostable circuit, which does not work in Bedrock.
yo I have a question I smelt sand on mine for glass but The minecarts that deliver the sand into the furnaces just go one time and then they stop do you know why or how i fix it? so it only smelts some sand and then the rest is just in the minecarts stuck until i press the button or put more sand in it
It's tough for me to say without seeing your smelter. My best guess is that there is something going wrong with your startup redstone that repeats the minecart launching process.
Hey it’s a great design and thanks for the tutorial, one thing I need to mention is you should say in like the description or something that it can only smelt one TYPE of item at a time and to always put 128 fuel source items in at a time or the end ones won’t get filled. Again great tutorial and I do like that your fast paced, most tutorial creators go way too slow in my opinion :)
Hey man, thanks a lot for the design, it works well but I did find a few issues. The first one is that the fuel rail lines don't have enough powered rails. The item rail lines do, but the fuel rail lines don't, they need a few more powered rails. The second issue is that the smelted-item-droppers sometimes drop the item on top of themselves. To fix this you need to place some blocks above the water so that it's closed in. That's all the issues I found.
