Everything she did wrong was entirely undertandable in the circumstance. She fixed it all at the massive expense of herself and her own family. She was hated long before she did anything wrong. She had literally no one to turn to. Parents dead, brother dead, Vision dead, Natasha dead, Steve dipped, she had Hawkeye but let's be real he had a convo with her and then went to be with his dead family. Which fair, she probably didn't want to bother him. She didn't intentionally hurt anyone. None of the bad things she did negates her heroic and self-sacrifical actions nor the multiple times she saved the world. Everything she did while possesed by the darkhold really shouldn't be held against her as literally every other hero who was ever under it's influence went waaaay worse. She was downright kind comparitively, and actively restrained herself from hurting anyone accept her target until they attacked her. Then she started unraveling but hey you can only ask for so much impossible restraint. She literally had the power to take over the multiverse and was like "no I just want to see my kids again." It is a miracle she is as stable and reasonable as she is. As she pointed out to Steven's face.

If the MCU wants to now they can now retcon Scarlet Witch as a mutant sorcress and Magneto's daughter now since Disney has the rights to the X-Men. Maybe even bring Ian McKellen as Magneto.
