I'm thinking of getting this bike....mainly for comfort and I upgrading from a lower CC bike...so do you recommend buying it? Sorry, I don't understand hindi so I would appreciate your reply? I know its comfort but technically brake-wise and service-wise is it good?
Thanks for watching! Comfort is amazing, braking is also good. There is enough bite at the front and the rear Brake also responds well. The Brake pads are from Brembo and I get enough confidence on high speeds when ever I go on a long ride. Moreover, the normal servicing costs around 7 to 8k and a major service around 11-12k. So if you are comfortable with this amount you can consider as the maintenence is only once a year or 10k kms whichever comes first. Hope it helps 🙂
@@Ashim.M appreciate your detailed reply! That gives me more confidence. Thank you. I'm looking at this coz it's not too heavy like Himalayan but still comfy with good suspension. So do you recommend it wholeheartedly even in 2024?
Sir. I've heard this bike has battery 🔋 and alternator issues. However this is not a big problem for me but still my state doesn't have a bmw showroom and service centre. I'm planning to buy this bike this winter. Thanks for the review, I knew a lot from it ❤
Thanks for watching, trust me by God’s grace I never experienced this issue. I have two of them and both are absolutely fine without any complaints. However, in my Motorrad group, few people rarely complain for battery issue and I feel surprised. I sometimes don’t start my bike for 15-20 days and when I intend to start after a long gap, engine gets started on the first self itself. Go ahead as it’s a beautiful machine and I’m sure you are going to love it the way it handles. Best Wishes ❤️
@@Ashim.M Thanks for the reply. I was confused between Triumph Scrambler 400x and Bmw G 310 GS. My primary usage is normal city rides along with occasional long trips (once or twice a year) with my wife. After watching so many reviews on RU-vid, I realised that on Scrambler the luggage option is quite less compared to GS and the pillion seat is also less comfortable than GS. So going for GS now ^_^
@@Ashim.M sir actually i have a doubt..?? Is the Upgraded version of this model is coming by end of this year or maybe in 2025..???? Have you any info regarding this..???
It’s quite possible that next year a new model of this bike is launched. However, as of now there is no confirmed news. If the new model or upgraded version is introduced, the pricing will definitely go higher. At the moment this bike has few offers going on due to which I doubt that a new model may be introduced.
Hi dear, I had visited the BMW service center and gathered info for you. Hi, please watch the bike review which I did as it explains almost everything. It’s gem of a machine at the price point it is being offered. It’s very nimble, light weight, has amazing suspension, good acceleration and even braking too. However, nothing is perfect in this world, there are a few short comings as well. Hope you get answers in the review video done by me. Best wishes.
one of the best reviews! never seen a better narration content and soft voice. may your channel bring value to lakhs of people! If I were to make content, I would like it to be like yours....genuine and humble! bar raised.
@@Ashim.M thanks a lot for replying. I'm trying achieve the same setup as yours. Please tell me if the right side box fits in properly above the exhaust or do they sit very wide away from the bike?
Hello dear, Sorry I was travelling, could not reply early. Bike is very nimble and easy to move while it is off. No issues at all. At least 5.6 feet I required to handle this bike as it's an adventure bike and seat height is 835 mm. Hope this helps.
250 kms to jyada hai, waise to bike mein koi issue nahi aata, aur Service interval bhi 10000 km ya 1 year hai jiski vajah se aapko saal mein sirf 1 baar visit karna padega. 1st service jaldibaa jayegi aur apko 500 kms aana jaana padega. Ek baar soch lo ke aap manage kar paoge ya nahi aur us ke hisab se decision lelo. Bike ka suspension, pickup and performance bahut Acha hai. Aisa suspension maine kabhi kisi bike pe nahi feel kiya. Good luck
Sir, Sorry for late reply. I think it will be challenging for you. A low height seat comes in accessories at BMW Motorrad. Pls ask dealer to fit in the seat and check suitability. I hope this should help you. Bike is nimble and driving on tarmac shouldn't be a problem, only issue will be during un even surfaces or off road driving where you are not sure if your feet will touch the ground or not. Pls visit showroom and feel the bike, if you are confident then only proceed further.
Thank you for liking the video. I don't have insurance from either of the company mentioned by you. However, as per my experience icici lombard is better.
Rear suspension pre-load has 10 stages to adjust according to load. For eg. If single person is riding and there is no luggage, it can be set to default serving which is on a softer side. Vice versa if you have 2 people and luggage so the spring setting can be set on the harder side so that rear suspension can act according to that load. But lowering the suspension is not possible I guess which can be electronically done in the higher value BMW bikes like F 850 GS and F 900 XR etc. Hope it helps.
